Summer has come and gone, the leaves are beginning to change, and calves are finally weaned.

With 90-degree days like today, it may not feel much like fall just yet, but the season is officially here!

We’ve been busy getting calves broke to clip and picture, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on with everyone.

If you’ve been to the farm lately, you know it’s a bit of a construction zone right now… We’re excited to be building a new working facility and bringing IVF services to the area through 605 Sires and Donors.

Big things are happening, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead!

Big news coming out of Indiana!

Congratulations to our friends and partners at Fuller Farms on two-holing the 4H Highland Heifer Show at the Indiana State Fair!

We’re proud to work alongside a program that continues to raise the bar and represent the Highland breed so well. Even better, we’re fortunate to call the people behind the program not only partners, but friends!

Ever since we got into the Highland breed, visiting Willow Glen Farm has been at the top of our bucket list. Last week, we finally got to cross it off, and it exceeded every expectation!

A huge thank you to Jaylyn for the incredible hospitality and for taking the time to show us around. It was immediately apparent how much love, dedication, and countless hours she has poured into building her breeding program. Every animal, every pasture, and every conversation reflected the passion and purpose behind what she’s created.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to visit, learn, and spend time with someone who shares such a deep appreciation for this amazing breed. Thank you again, Jaylyn, for making us feel so welcome. It was truly a visit we’ll never forget, and we already can’t wait to come back.

Until next time!

Today we're celebrating America's 250th birthday and feeling pretty thankful to call this country home! Here's to good cattle, great company, and the freedom to chase what you're passionate about. 🇺🇸

Worth the read. We appreciate Sunset Meadow Farm for sharing a perspective that echoes what many in the breed have been thinking.

Another OPU day with a group of females that represent the kind of cattle we’re working to build our program around!

As a young operation, every decision matters and we’re grateful for the opportunity to continue investing in the genetics we believe in.
