https://www.oddcropfarm.com/csa Odd Crop Farm was started by two friends who met at another veggie farm. We grow over 180 varieties of heirloom vegetables, flowers and herbs. For us, it’s all about growing high-quality food without chemicals, feeding our neighbors, and producing at a scale that doesn’t take advantage of workers. Besides our initial tilling, everything we do is hand-tended, health-driven, and flavor focused. It just takes time.

C’mon out and get some lush, crisp, sweet after the frost greens! Lots of end of season tomatoes! Big ol’ shallots! And so many other good roasting roots to boot.

🥬 salanova lettuce heads, arugula, kale mix, mustard greens, kale bunches, Swiss chard, dandelion greens, collards, parsley and more!
🍠 purple fingerling potatoes, white potatoes and reds!
🧅 yellow onions, some red onions, shallots and sweet onions! (Scallions too!)
🍅last of the season heirloom and cherry!, jalapeños, sweet green peppers, Jimmy nardello (sweet) peppers, and green tomatoes
🫜purple daikon, purple top turnips, watermelon radishes and more!

📍On the Hamilton village green until 1PM today and will be at Johnny Appleseed from 11AM-4PM tomorrow!

Three or four frosts deep and our greens and roots crops are looking good. Hellooooo week 3 FALL CSA ✨🥔

Large Share: salanova lettuce, Swiss chard, purple daikon, sweet peppers, parsley, arugula, yellow potatoes, honeynut squash x2, and heirloom tomatoes !
Small Share: purple fingerling potatoes, honeynut squash, heirloom tomatoes, parsley, arugula, and sweet peppers !
Flex Share (every other week): parsley, red potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, and delicata squash !

Fall CSA Week 2! We have so many future hopes for on farm events, hangs and more. This year didn’t turn out quite as we hoped — health issues galore! But we are still building towards next year.

Large share: purple fingerlings, green cabbage, salad mix, eggplant, ember peppers (hot), carrots, acorn squash, garlic, nardello peppers (sweet, frying), and baby Komatsuna greens.

Small share: tomatoes, eggplant, carrots, salad mix, acorn squash, nardello peppers (sweet, frying), and ember peppers (hot)

We are here Shoppes at Johnny Appleseed until 4PM today with lots of good greens, roots, beans, last of our eggplant, tomatoes, and peppers!

This weekend we will be at the Hamilton Farmers Market until 1PM today ✨

Sunday we will be at right outside of Caz from 11AM-3PM 🍅🌱.

🍅heirloom and slicer tomatoes, green tomatoes too
🌶️ shish*tos, jalapeños, Hungarian hot wax, jimmy nardello, red ember (hot), sweet green bell peppers
🍆 the last of our gorgeous eggplant
🥔🍠 red and yellow potatoes (fresh and sweet!)
🥬 kale mix, salad mix, endive, Asian greens mix, escarole, komatsuna, collards, dandy greens
🥦 cauliflower, scallions, parsley, cabbage, carrots
And more! All grown by us regeneratively without chemicals.

Oh the hillside is changing colors. It’s colder as we do our evening and early morning work. And tomorrow is the first week of our FALL CSA ✨🥔 peep a silly pic of some straggler celosia flowers that came up at the end of our potato beds. Sweet surprise!

We are trying to get beds prepped and tarped for next year, cover cropping where we can, along with a few late plantings. Let’s see what this changing season brings.

🥬 endive, arugula, kale mix, green cabbage, Napa cabbage and more!

All grown by us in Lebanon.

We had been checking on our cauliflower and thought they would still hold until our first week of fall CSA as planned but wow — our field walk this morning has shown they are ready and gorgeous!

In truth, this year we tested out a new patch of planting space for our other brassicas and were pretty disappointed in that soil and how the plants did. So these being in our more trusted section really paid off. Hello fall!

Odd Crop is using this weekend to flip beds for cover cropping, fall CSA work, final fall prepping, and to hopefully get it all done before a rainy week blows in. Thank you all!
