Rumor has it Sara has a bottle of this week’s Wine Of The Week open for you to taste today in the tasting room!

The 2009 Folkendt Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a staff and winemaker favorite and 14 bottles remain ($135 a bottle, club discounts apply).

If you haven’t heard about our Wine Of The Week program, each week we feature a different wine that we’ve pulled from our small library in our warehouse. These wines are immaculately stored, older offerings that showcase Steven Kent's reputation for making world-class wines of distinction that improve for decades. Each Monday at 10am, one wine will be available for purchase. That wine will be available until Sunday at 6pm or until it is sold out, whichever occurs first.��Each Wine of the Week has been vetted for quality by our winemaking team, and only the finest wines from the library are being offered in this program. They are the last few bottles that exist of each wine, so these are the last time you will ever see them available for sale. 2004 was an excellent vintage and this bottle comes from one of our favorite vineyards, Home Ranch. It has aged beautifully and we're excited to offer these special bottles.

BIG NEWS! The Steven Kent Winery’s main tasting room will be moving BACK to the Home Ranch Vineyard on Tesla Rd. this fall!

In 1996, The Steven Kent Winery started up at 5443 Tesla Rd. For 25+ years, Home Ranch was our home. We love all of the history we have at that site. All of the club parties, harvest parties, special occasions, celebrations, and general sharing of good wines and good times have always been very special to us.

As a result of the property being sold in 2023, we made the big move to Vasco Row and have enjoyed our time being among other wineries. We are thankful to all of you who came to visit us, enjoyed the club lounge, and celebrated several more years of friendships through wine.

We were thrilled when the opportunity to move back to Home Ranch presented itself to us and felt this was the right call for our winery and our family. Sara and Aidan grew up at Home Ranch, and as they get more and more involved in the family winery (and as the 8th generation starts having interest in the winery life), moving back to our original home just feels right.

We will be moving into the smaller building (previously the La Rochelle tasting room), which, by the time we move in, will have a beautiful back patio looking out into the Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese vineyards. (Drinking a glass of Vincere while looking out at the very vines that produced that wine!? PERFECTION.)

The Home Ranch will have two wineries on site: The Steven Kent Winery and Shanti Wines. Everything about our winery will stay the same throughout this move: America’s Oldest Family of Winemakers, our focus and dedication to Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Livermore Valley, our obsession with the role wine has in a well-lived life, our deep love of hospitality and serving our guests, club members, and friends, and the knowledge that 99% of the time you’ll find a Mirassou family member when you walk in the door. We love being a family-owned small business with the goal of making your life better through a beautiful glass of wine.

Our opening date will be Nov. 1st, 2026. We will still be open at our Vasco location through Oct. 31st!
