The first wine of summer should be bright, refreshing, and impossible to overthink.

For us, that's Sauvignon Blanc.

Grown in the cool, windswept Sunol Highlands, our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc offers vibrant notes of red grapefruit, pineapple, and lychee wrapped around crisp acidity and a mineral finish.

Memorial Day weekend is here, and the new releases are officially pouring at Occasio.

Join us this Saturday for an afternoon of wine, vineyard views, and smash burgers from Marty’s Joint from Noon–5 PM.

We’ll be featuring newly released wines including our:

• 2025 Highlands Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc
• 2023 Heritage Pinot Noir

No reservations required for regular tastings.

Our new 2023 Pinot Noir from Lineage Estate comes from the fog-laced Green Valley of Russian River Valley—one of Sonoma County’s coolest and most distinctive growing regions. Here, coastal influence, Goldridge soils, and slow ripening create Pinot Noir with brightness, texture, tension, and elegance.

Blending Martini, Pommard, and Dijon 777 clones, this limited release offers layered aromatics of red cherry, wild strawberry, rose petal, subtle earth, and spice carried through a long silken finish.

Only 82 cases were produced.

In 1889, wines from Livermore Valley traveled to the Paris Exposition and returned home with some of the highest honors in the world — helping place California wine on the global stage.

At the center of that historic achievement was Sauvignon Blanc.

More than a century later, our valley still proves why it’s such a remarkable place for this variety. Ancient seabed soils, warm sunny days, and the cooling influence of San Francisco Bay create wines with incredible energy and character.

This weekend, we begin releasing our 2025 Sauvignon Blanc to our wine club members before its public release.

Bright citrus, white peach, vibrant acidity, and a distinctive mineral edge — a modern expression of a historic Livermore Valley legacy.
