Procter Center Procter offers retreats, camps, and events along these lines. Procter Center does this work through our farm, camp, and retreat center.

At Procter, we love and celebrate our LGBTQ+ siblings and allies ALL YEAR, but we have Camp PRIDE in August! 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🫶🏻

All ages (under 18 with chaperone) are invited to come and touch grass, and find holy ground at Procter, August 6-8! Prices were all inclusive and camperships are available for all ages.

Prayer for the Summer Solstice

Lord,
Thank you for the gift of Summer—
for long days and golden light,
for warmth that sinks deep into the soil and into our souls.

Thank you for the sun,
tracing its high arc above us,
reminding us of your steadfast presence.

In this turning of the seasons,
in ripening fruit and blooming fields,
in birdcall and breeze,
help us see your hand at work—
the rhythm of creation echoing your grace.

On this longest day,
draw us into your eternal light.
Lift our hearts, even now,
to dwell with you in joy, in wonder, in love.

There is no friendship quite like a camp friendship, especially when it is grounded in Jesus’s command to love one another.

Thanks to John Snavely and the Rev. Canon Liesebet Gravely from for helping us find holy ground and holy connections such as the ones we made between us as we traveled a week of camp together!
