🎉 Happy FIFTEENTH birthday to our Head W**ery Pup, Indy! 🐾

If you’ve visited our tasting room in the last fifteen years, chances are you’ve been greeted by Indy’s woof and wagging tail. Maybe you’ve scratched his head as he peeked through the stair railing, or caught him cruising the back deck in search of a snack. However you’ve met him, Indy has a way of making himself part of your visit!

Today, we’re celebrating our lovable centenarian (that’s 105 in dog years!), and Indy is sharing the birthday love all week long…

In honor of his big day, we’re pouring a special **$15 birthday w**e flight**, with proceeds benefiting Homeward Bound Pets, McMinnville’s local animal shelter. Indy has spent fifteen years making people smile, and now he’s helping spread a little love to dogs who need it most. 🐶

Stop by this weekend to wish Indy a happy birthday, raise a glass, and support a great local cause. Cheers to fifteen years of Indy!

We love giving our club members a behind-the-scenes look at what goes in to making their favorite w**es. During our Harvest W**e Club Party, members joined GM, Jenny Burger, for a special tour through the crush of and cellar, getting a firsthand peek of the 2026 vintage and the opportunity ask all those burning w**emaking questions.

Harvest is a fitting time to celebrate Ariel Eberle’s 10-year anniversary as Head W**emaker at Yamhill Valley Vineyards.🍇

This is the season when experience, attention to detail, and a whole lot of hands-on work come together. Ariel has guided our w**emaking since 2016, helping shape a decade of YVV vintages, and we’re excited to recognize her milestone right in the middle of the action.

Join us in thanking Ariel for 10+ years of hard work and for everything you bring to YVV!

And all the sounds that go along with it!

We often get asked what happens once all the fruit is picked… Sooo much!

As our ferments finish, they sit on the skins until the tannins resolve (more on this later!). When Head W**emaker, Ariel Eberle, deems them ready, we rack the free run w**e and then press the skins. Barrels are steamed and the w**e settles over night. Each barrel is inspected and smelled for quality before being filled and tucked inside the barrel room.

Rinse and repeat on 50+ fermentation vessels until the cellar transforms from fermentation room to barrel hall!

Nearly all in before October? Harvest 2026 has been a whirlwind so far and today we pick the last of our fruit! That doesn’t mean it’s over… the work continues in the cellar with punchdowns, pumpovers, kerthunks, pressing Pinots, barrel steaming, and finally, barreling down our finished w**es. We can’t wait to share this incredible vintage with you!
