As we find ourselves deep in the final stretch of the 2026 harvest here at the w**ery, we briefly turn our attention back to the 2024 vintage. A vintage which yielded dream–come–true w**es, including our first Chenin Blanc. We couldn’t be more excited to share with these special w**es with you and are pleased to announce that we have opened access to a broad selection from the vintage.

In addition to the 2024s, we’ve pulled together a handful of library sets to offer you. These are w**es that have deepened in their expression, and we find ourselves especially drawn to them lately – and we’re eager for you to have the same experience. We have a limited number of these sets to share, so don’t hesitate to put in your requests.

Eric Guido of VINOUS wrote that “the 2024s are among the strongest w**es yet from Martin Woods,” and that “Evan Martin has quickly risen to become one of Oregon’s elite w**emakers.” We’re incredibly grateful for those words, but more importantly, we’re excited for you to experience these w**es for yourselves.

Thank you so much for continuing to follow along with our journey to produce some of the world’s most compelling w**es from our humble corner of western Oregon. It means a great deal to us to have these w**es find their way into your homes and cellars.

Eric Guido’s recent report for Vinous described 2024 as a “cool-toned, neoclassical” vintage, marked by freshness, bright fruit, structure, and minerality. The growing season was anything but straightforward. July brought significant heat, followed by a dramatic cooling in August and late-summer rain that created some disease pressure. Then September delivered a warm spell before an exceptionally long, moderate autumn allowed growers to wait.

That extended finish was important. Fruit had time to hang, flavors and textures continued to develop, and acidity remained intact. Guido described the best 2024s as radiant, with elevated acidity, bright and lifted fruit, floral aromatics, and the structure to age. He ultimately called 2024 “one of the strongest vintages of the last decade.”

For us, the vintage feels particularly exciting because those qualities seem to have amplified the character of each site rather than obscured it. The generosity of fruit we loved in 2021, the acidity of 2019, the ripe fine-grained tannins of 2018, and the elegant, ethereal balance of 2023 all seem to find a place in 2024.

Guido wrote that “the 2024s are among the strongest w**es yet from Martin Woods,” and that “Evan Martin has quickly risen to become one of Oregon’s elite w**emakers.”

We’re honored to join our producer colleagues in this celebration of Koosah Vineyard on June 21st. We sincerely hope you can join us.

This “magnum opus” project of grower Kevin Chambers is without question one of the most thoughtfully planned vineyards in the Willamette’s history, and also one of the riskiest. Those calculated risks are already paying dividends: bright acidity, perfectly ripe fruit, and lifted aromatics. All together, Koosah is evidence of the promise that Willamette Valley’s greatest days are present and future.

This event brings together producers who work with Koosah, each offering a distinct perspective on this remarkable site. Tasted side by side, these w**es reveal the full dimension of the vineyard, its energy, structure, and clarity, shaped by both place and the hands of the w**emakers behind them.

This is a rare opportunity to explore a single vineyard through multiple lenses, gaining a deeper understanding of how site and intent come together in the glass. W**emakers will share their insights and offer an inside look at Koosah and the philosophies that guide their work. The afternoon will feature a moderated conversation led by Justin Moore MS, who will guide an engaging discussion, exploring the philosophy, farming, and decisions that shape these w**es.

More than a tasting, this is a celebration of site, community, and the pursuit of excellence. Whether you have followed Koosah from the beginning or are discovering it for the first time, this is not an event to miss.

Participating W**eries:
00 W**es
 Granville W**es
 Martin Woods
 Morgen Long
 Perlee Vineyards
 Resonance W**es
 Walter Scott

We’re pleased to bring you our Spring Offering. A collection of w**es we’ve been spending time with, eagerly returning to, and ultimately couldn’t wait to share with you:

2025 EOLA SPRINGS CABERNET FRANC ROSÉ
Shortly after last year’s inaugural release, Lettie Teague of The Wall Street Journal named our 2024 Eola Springs Rosé of Cabernet Franc the #1 Rosé in America. The response was overwhelming, and the w**e sold out before summer even began. We are grateful once again to work with a small block of this rare Willamette Valley-grown Cabernet Franc. ***LIMITED!

3 YEAR GAMAY VERTICAL 6 BOTTLE SET—2 Bottles of each
2019 Willamette Valley Gamay • 2021 Tualatin Estate Gamay • 2023 Tualatin Estate Gamay
We’ve been really enjoying following the evolution of Gamay in our cellar and wanted to put together a set of w**es that captures both the freshness and the complexity that these w**es can deliver. At their core, these are incredibly delicious w**es.

2019 HAVLIN VINEYARD GAMAY (1.5L Magnum Only)
We wanted to offer you the chance to snag one or two of our last remaining magnums of 2019 Havlin Vineyard Gamay. Gamay can become absolutely delightful with a little cellaring time. If you’ve not experienced this before, trust us that this w**e offers you such an opportunity.
***EXTREMELY LIMITED!

2022 MOZAIK CHARDONNAY—A first of it’s kind
Sourced from two distinct sites, Pearlstad Vineyard in the Eola-Amity Hills & Yamhill Valley Vineyard just down the road from us in the McMinnville AVA.

2023 JESSIE JAMES VINEYARD PINOT NOIR
We began working with Jessie James in 2014. The 2023 vintage is our 10th bottling, and we think it has proven itself to be the most refined and complete expression we’ve produced from this site.

We celebrated the official launch of our collaboration w**e project, Call & Response, with Chef Chris Bianco two nights ago at Pane Bianco in Phoenix. The event was a beautiful realization of the intention of this w**e… to inspire connection and bring people together around a table. For a few beautiful hours, we forgot about our phones, embraced the analog, and connected over food, w**e, and music.

Pizza and w**e, two things made to share, eight equal slices and an open bottle at the center of a table. In this case, an Oregon red blend intentionally crafted to pair with Chris’s cuisine.

In music, “Call & Response” is both a collaborative style and a cultural practice rooted in African musical traditions—one that creates a dynamic connection between artists and the audience. Often, one voice creates tension while another offers resolution, building rhythm and energy in the exchange. When the audience is called—frequently through chant—everyone can participate, regardless of musical skill. We see this w**e as a “Call & Response” between a w**emaker and a chef, with an open invitation for all to participate.

Incredibly grateful and honored to collaborate with on this project, and massive thanks to his team for a perfect evening.

We invite you to read more about the w**e and the story behind it at callandresponsew**e.com.
