I made a couple of splits today. These colonies are building up quick. This blue queen is healthy and laying eggs like crazy. This is the busiest time of year for beekeepers! 10 colonies can turn into 20 real quick.

March 7th and all 5 of my hives in my home yard made it through this long and grueling cold winter. A little bit of preparation and a lot of blessings saw them through. Now off to check my other yard ! 🤞
