And that’s a wrap folks!! 2026 hatching is complete! Incubators are put away and chicks are in the brooder. It feels weird walking past where they all were and having no bators to look in or sniff 🤭 I started off with a few dozen to hatch, so I could chase the rainbow, and ended up with more chicks than I expected! I don’t think my bators stopped from February til now! It’s a well deserved rest for the winter for them. 😂
So here’s my thank you speech.
I’d like to thank all of you that enabled my addiction with hatching and all the adorable chickens I was left with. This includes orders I made, orders where I was “blessed” with more than I expected, and those of you that just wanted to send me eggs to hatch! It also includes my go-to who supports everything I do, listens to my crazy planning, hatching, buying, complaining and conspiring to buy more eggs! Because of all of you, I went from wanting to get a few chickens to planning a new coop/run so I can keep more! I love this community and the “chicken friends” that I’ve made. So here is my thank you list!
