Today was the day to finalize our Mother's Day Specialty Variety! Fingers crossed that it turns out pretty... the fragrance is beautiful- a combination of lotus and Jasmine extract, with a hint of Island Escape fragrance oil. Our oldest daughter Priya helped with the design and making of this variety!
She also helped me make a batch of Peppermint/Lemongrass soap (see the photos) that was a special request from our neighbor. Excited to see the cut in a few days!

Wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your recent orders and notes! I am thrilled to hear how much everyone loves our soap and what it can do for your skin. Happy Labor Day everyone!
We are looking for a responsible young man (high school age or above) who would be interested in helping on our farm during the month of September (possibly beyond). Duties would include yard work, small construction, simple maintenance, landscaping, basic animal husbandry, etc. Responsibility is key, as operating a zero turn mower, bobcat, and tractor may also be necessary. We'd be looking for at least 2 days a week, but very likely more days with the right candidate. If someone you know might be interested, please send us a message!

Whew, what a week!! We just got back from an awesome mini trip to Holmes County, OH for the 2nd annual Food Independence Summit. To say we can away encouraged, inspired, and a bit tired is an understatement! 😅 I highly recommend the summit to anyone who has an interest in a home-based business and homestead.

The Perfect Man just got a makeover!! Decided it was time for a bit more oomph, so we used the same color scheme (with the addition of gray) and I chose a cool drop swirl for the main design. Can't wait to see the cut!
