Dutch Hollow Farms is a unique Farm that transforms with each season. In early spring, Tulips rule and are in Bloom till around April 1st. Best bloom in early March. We then cut an bale Oat and Wheat hay, We then prepare the land for corn and various veggies while also planting pumpkins. October is another chance to show off the farm with Tractors, Hay rides, photo areas and a 10 acre corn maze. N

ot to mention A-Z in pumpkins of all shapes and sizes as well as colors. We even offer educational field trips.

Corn grows fast. Our 20th anniversary corn Maze opens October 2. Our fall Craft Fair is September 12. Pumpkins will be for sale at the Craft Fair and all of October.

Pumpkin sales have been slowly declining over the past few years for us. Lots of people have been growing them because of the bad prices of almonds/walnuts and grapes. (Expect lower prices this year)
I’ve dedicated my entire summer to growing pumpkins as well as making more improvements to the farm. We hope you notice. We hope you come check us out this fall. If you haven’t been in a few years, make a point of coming back. Our hayrides will be greatly improved with the plantings of sunflowers and marigolds. Can’t wait to see y’all out this fall.

What to Expect

We have 5 educational stations for your students to enjoy. Each station is approximately 12 minutes long, with a 3-minute rotation between stations.

Educational Stations:

Milking Claribel — our fake cow — or Milking Nelly — our fake goat
Life Cycle of a Pumpkin / Plant a Pumpkin Seed
Please bring a box or tub for the planting station plants.
Critter Barn — visit and learn about our farm animals
Hay Ride — take a ride around the farm
Story Time

Plus: Students will pick out their pie-size pumpkin on their way out!

Arrival Information
Please arrive 15–20 minutes before your scheduled field trip time. This allows us time to put wristbands on the children and staff and welcome you to the farm.

Cost
Students: $10.00 — includes a pie pumpkin

Teachers & Aides: FREE
Homeschools may have one FREE teacher per 15 children over the age of 3.

Parents & Siblings: $10.00
This includes homeschool families.

Fun Field Trips

Fun Field Trips are also available. A minimum of 10 children ages 3 and older is required. Fun Field Trips include admission to the farm but do not include the educational stations.

Bring Your Family, Friends, or Organization Together!

Our 2026 Scarecrow Contest is a wonderful way to bring your family, friends, school, club, or organization together to create a fun and creative scarecrow display for our Wagon Ride Adventure!

🌾 All scarecrows must be family friendly.

🧑‍🌾 Contest Details
• You supply all materials needed to create your scarecrow.
• Dutch Hollow Farms will supply the hay!
• Groups and organizations may include a family-friendly sign identifying their group or organization.
• All entries must be delivered to Dutch Hollow Farms by October 1, 2026, at 6:30 PM.

Please deliver your completed scarecrow during one of the following times:
• September 26: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• September 30: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM or 5:00–6:30 PM
• October 1: 10:00 AM–12:00 PM or 5:00–6:30 PM

🎟️ FREE Farm Passes!
Each scarecrow entry will receive 4 FREE passes to Dutch Hollow Farms Pumpkin Season when the scarecrow is delivered!

🏆 Prizes
The Top 5 Scarecrows will win a prize!
🏆 The winner will be announced October 31, 2026.

🍂 Scarecrow Pickup
All scarecrows and decorations must be picked up after the contest during one of these times:
• November 2: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
• November 3: 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Pumpkin variety spotlight. “Fireball” this medium to large size pumpkin is one we think everyone will love to decorate this fall. Comes with an awesome stem. Just remember to never pick a pumpkin up by its stem. It’s what gives it its character.
We will sell these for $4 maybe $5 each.
