This has been my favorite addiction to the garden! My focus has always been food and growing enough to eat all year but adding this little patch of flowers has brought so much joy to my garden this summer!

Time to introduce you to the hardest working employee of the garden!

Our friendly neighborhood birds were helping themselves to all my green bean buds so we hadnā€™t seen a single green bean yet this year.

I am happy to report that after just a few weeks with Mr Owl, we are officially harvesting green beans!

We harvested one just to see how they are doing but the rest will be left on the plant to dry out for popcorn!

It seems like our cucumbers get overripe so fast this year! And I can only make so much relish!
