Urgent! This is the last weekend to sign the Data Center Referendum Petition so Frederick County’s registered voters can decide if data center acreage should be expanded. Please stop by the farm to sign the petition. It only takes a few minutes!

❤️ Show your love for Frederick County Farms! In support of the referendum to let the people of Frederick County decide if they want to expand the data center area, Gaver Farm will be open on Saturday Valentine’s Day from 9 to 12 for registered Frederick county voters to sign the petition. Please stop by at the farm’s Admission Barn.

As you know, our farm is being severely impacted by the Maryland Piedmont, Reliability Project. MPRP is a transmission line slated to serve, out-of-state, private, corporations.

The critical data infrastructure overlay map Ordinance 26–01–001 was passed in January. This legislation added almost 1000 acres to the already 1600 acres being developed for data centers. This was done against the will of the people, the recommendations from the Data Center Work Group, the Planning Commission recommendations, and our state legislators. The community spoke out and asked to slow down and wait for the State Data Center Analysis currently being conducted.

The next step is to get a referendum on the ballot and let the people have a say. So if you love agriculture, and want to have a voice in what happens in Frederick County, please stop by!

Twas the weekend before Christmas and all through the farm, trees are waiting for a family to be found. The ornaments are hung on the branches with care, and soon presents will also be there!

Just 4️⃣ more days to cut your own tree! Open 9 am - 5 pm through December 23 (Tuesday) with cut your own and fresh cut Christmas trees!

🚜Zack the Tractor is back! Where are all the Zack fans?! Did you know Zack enjoys caroling and has some new Christmas songs to share with you?!

🪚Gaver Farm provides everything you need to cut your own tree: saws, tree carts, shaking, baling, pin stand drilling and string for car tying. Easy peasy!

OPEN for cut your own Christmas trees!🎄
Huge selection of gorgeous Douglas Fir, Canaan Fir, Blue Spruce and White Pine. Cut your own trees are priced by the type of tree: $80 for Fir and Spruce; $65 for White Pine.

🎄Fresh-cut trees are available in the back half of the Farm Market. Excellent selection!

🚜 Hayrides go to the back side of the farm- enjoy a scenic ride through the woods to access another huge field! Walking trails are also available. Hayrides are operating December 6-7, 2025.
