ires. For over 30 years Gaver Farm has provided cut your own and fresh cut Christmas trees and wreaths, roping, swags and fresh greenery in the Wreath Shop in the Farm Market. Trees types available are Douglas Fir, Canaan Fir, Fraser Fir, Concolor Fir, Blue Spruce and White Pine. Gaver Farm has outstanding quality trees! Visit the farm fresh food stands open during the fall and Christmas seasons.

🌻The COUNTDOWN continues! 9️⃣ days until opening day of the Fall Fun Fest and FIELDS of gorgeous blooms! Farmer Greg tripled flower acreage this year and we have had perfect growing conditions- the flower fields are full and lush.

📷 Props and pictures are a favorite at Gaver Farm. Farmer Laura reimagined and repainted several of our past favorites, and added a few new ones, sure to be popular, unique and garner a few laughs!

Introducing our new buck, Shiner! He’s a BIG boy! Shiner is new to our herd for the fall season- he has gorgeous horns, a beautiful dappled coat and he LOVES hanging out on the goat bridge, up in the trees!

Every time I hear him crossing, I ask, “Who’s that trip-trapping over MY bridge?!” He could definitely defeat the troll and save the day!

🌻Gaver Farm’s fall season kicks off in 2️⃣ weeks with the Sunflower Festival! Opening day is September 4th with expanded flower fields, free hayrides, farm fresh food stands featuring our famous cider donuts and slushies, Farm Market and the Fall Fun Fest with over 65 farm attractions and animals!

📷 We encourage sunflower selfies so bring your cameras! Spend the day wandering the fields and enjoying all the beauty that our Sunflower Festival has to offer. Take a walk through the sunflower paths and take pictures with our photo props: swing, piano, tractor, vintage bathtub, plus many more and NEW props!

🌺 As you explore the field, engage in a hands-on experience by cutting and creating your very own bouquet of sunflowers or mixed bouquets. We provide pruners, water and bucket options/packages!

🦆Do you love visiting the baby ducks at the Fall Fun Fest? They’ll join their neighbors, the turkeys and peacocks in the Bird Barn in just a few weeks.

🦃The Barnyard is home to 12 different animals. Some have been part of the Fall Fun Fest since the very beginning and some are new to the farm!

🐐Is Goat Gorge the most popular spot on the farm? The Gaver goat herd is made up of over 75 friendly Boer goats! That’s a LOT of goats, fun to feed and observe their silly goat antics!

🍎 Apple Crop Update: we are sad to share that due to a late season frost/freeze event in April, we lost over 90% of our apple crop. This was the most severe loss we have ever experienced in the orchard and we are devastated that pick your own apples will not be available this season.

🍎 Early Bird apple picking and Apple field trips will not be available for 2026. ✅ We will have apples available in the Farm Market and we will be hosting pumpkin field trips this fall!

🍎 The GOOD news: we planted more apple trees this spring and all apple trees look great- the trees themselves suffered no damage from the freeze and we expect an excellent crop in 2027!

🍎 While apple picking will be missing from the farm this year, we have a beautiful crop of sunflowers and pumpkins to pick this fall. The Fall Fun Fest with over 65 attractions and farm animals, hayrides, Farm Market and delicious food stands open on September 4th for the season.

🎃 Homeschool Field Trip Days: September 28 OR 29, 2026. Parents and their home-schooled children can learn about farming, growing crops, pollination, farm animals and so much more with self-guided learning opportunities! The Field Trip ticket includes Fall Fun Fest admission, hayride and a pick your own pumpkin (under 5 pounds).

No reservations are necessary. Let the cashier know at check-in you are checking in for Homeschool Day. Tickets are only available at the farm. No free teachers or parents. Check-in opens at 9:30 am. Hayrides run continuously from 10 am – 12 noon to pick your own pumpkins (under 5 pounds, included). You must check-in prior to 12:00 noon to receive the $10 rate, hayride and pumpkin. The last field trip hayride will depart at 12 noon- don’t miss it!
