We made BBQ sauce last night as the lids finally arrived. Today was Bread and Butter Jalapenos. We are making some more BBQ sauce tonight or tomorrow early.

The orders from the weekend and a couple back orders for BBQ Sauce and Kentucky Candy are out the door. I still have 3 to finish.

In general, I try to get orders out the same week. There are times we have walk up sales or silo store sales that cause inventory issues.

We should be quicker in the coming weeks as having a part time employee has allowed us to up our production 20%.

Pina Colada and Mango Pineapple Jam back on the menu, got done this week. I'm here at 5:45pm, still waiting for BBQ sauce lids... if they come in, I'll have that too tomorrow.

Becca will be with us... and we have about 100 refrigerator pickles, Baja Pickles and Garlic. Good stuff fo' sure.

Schedule:
Every weekend (almost), Saturdays 7-12 until August, The Murray Downtown Farmers Market.

Coming up:

July 4th weekend, we'll be in Murray (Paula) and I'll be in Calvert City, Kentucky for the Ameribration, our 5th? year.

July 23-25th The Great Texas Mosquito Festival in Clute, TX, just south of Houston. It was local, so I thought Paula loves Mosquitos... Joking of course.... Our daughter lives in Houston, TX and we wanted to visit her, but this way we can sell jam to pay for it and see her too.

Great American Farmers' Market. We were invited as of December to set up in DC for a week event the first week of August. No details yet, they are busy doing the 250th, but we plan on being there.

Kentucky State Fair August 20th-30th in Louisville KY.

Labor Day: Grand Rivers Labor Day Event.

What? Cadiz?

Yep, Robert will be out at the Cadiz farmer's market tomorrow, Wednesday from 7-12.

I will be set up old school with tables, our trailer isn't allowed under the barn and outside we block the amish trailers.

I did not unload from this weekend, so chances are.. if I have it, it'll be there.

I need to drop in a couple stores that I have been putting off due to my health recovery. Tomorrow is the day.

Picked up 177 lbs of pickling cucumbers today locally, they are finally starting to hit the market. I also asked about Okra, but weird weather and not enough heat yet. 3 weeks or so.

The plan this week is dills, bread and butter pickles, we got some onions too, some spicy dills and the baja carrot refrigerator pickles.

We should get mango pineapple done this week.

Yeah, well some guy orders 48 glass jars... 150 shrink bands and 16 lids. Sigh... Gotta stop sampling the rum before ordering online.

We will have samples at the farmers' market, and the several people who preordered, I should have the lids and glass by the end of the week next week and we'll finish that off.

I was also trying to do a wax seal over top, looks eh.... it's a process. We have black shrink wrappers on some also. I think I went too cheap on the wax heater.

We have a customer who loves our strawberry. So this weekend we'll have a 16oz version available. Limited supply....

This week we've done apple pie bourbon, smoked jalapeno pepper jelly, habanero jelly, and Kentucky Candy.

Today is chai tea jelly and earl grey and the strawberry. We are doing shorter batches to try to get the line back up, so squeaky wheel gets the jam. Let us know if you are looking for something.

No, okra isn't out yet.

Tomorrow, should be 36 jars of the BBQ sauce. We have some existing orders, but a couple ingredients were slow due to them being all natural and harder to get in bigger sizes. This is a big departure from our norm and even getting the processing right is hard.

There is a possibility of rain this weekend. We will be at the Murray Farmers' market no matter what. I did bend the tie rod in the big trailer (in the back of the picture) and that's tomorrows project, so same place.... display... I have no idea. Labels don't like getting wet. :)
