Broken Z Ranch Quarter Horses Training Horses for over 30 years and breeding Quarter Horses for over 25 years. We strive to provide quality all around foundation quarter horses.

We have been training horses for over 25 years and breeding horses for over 20 years. We breed exceptional conformation and disposition, along with color in the Quarter Horse industry. We help ensure our foals disposition by providing imprint training from day 1. We like our foals to be friendly and easy to handle. By working with our foals from day 1, their 2 year old year of starting them under

saddle is much easier then starting from scratch. In training, we like to start with a basic foundation. In typical 30 days depending on the horse, a c**t will be able to walk, trot, lope, stop, back, side pass, pivot forehand and hindquarter, give to the bit, flexing at the poll and giving head side to side. Depending on weather we also ride outside and down the road getting your c**ts used to traffic.

Bridget has been figuring out those legs of hers and was showing off her zoomies this afternoon as we were finishing up some trim work on the barn.

There have been a few that have asked about our orphan c**t. I know you can't see it very well as they are both on the off side, but this is BZ Working 9to5 affectionately known as Hanna. She is a DB Senor Blakburn daughter, has a BZ ShowUr Sq**rtGuns c**t on her side and took on Annie's foal as well this week. All the mares in this pen have been really good to Lowell(orphan bay c**t) even our dry mares let him look for the milk bar 🤦‍♀️
A lot of people talk about stallion genetics but a motherly instinct in a line goes a long ways too! ❤️ We didnt have the graft this c**t onto this mare, she just took him in.

Thank you to those who reached out but we won't be putting the c**t on a nurse mare, he's drinking from the waterer and on grain. He is out in the pasture with his buddies and the maiden mares are being good to him.
