Ingredients
Pie Crust
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
Seafood Filling
1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt
Vegetables
½ cup red bell pepper, diced
½ cup green bell pepper, diced
2 green onions, sliced
Cheese
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
Custard Mixture
4 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup whole milk
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
Garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Shrimp
Toss shrimp with:
Olive oil
Paprika
Garlic powder
Salt
Black pepper
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side.
Remove and cool slightly.
Reserve several shrimp for the top.
Step 2: Prepare the Filling
In a bowl combine:
Red bell pepper
Green bell pepper
Green onions
Mozzarella cheese
Cheddar cheese
Mix well.
Step 3: Make the Custard
Whisk together:
Eggs
Heavy cream
Milk
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Until smooth.
Step 4: Assemble
Place pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish.
Spread vegetable and cheese mixture evenly.
Add chopped cooked shrimp.
Pour custard mixture over the filling.
Arrange reserved shrimp decoratively on top.
Step 5: Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 35–40 minutes.
The center should be set and lightly golden.
Step 6: Cool
Allow quiche to rest 10 minutes.
Slice and serve warm.
