Good morning! First night in the books. Here's a snapshot from "breakfast" and turnout this morning :)

As far as the gender, it was busy yesterday and will try to release a reveal video later today on the name and gender! They are out in pasture so keep an eye out if you drive by!

The baby has arrived!

This morning was my daughter's first day of kindergarten, we were going to meet her uncle and grandparents at the Diner for breakfast, pulling out of the yard at 6:45(as always) I looked over into the pasture and saw a black baby standing beside momma! But we had plans and had to go to breakfast and send off Alani to her first ever day of school so the foal was put on hold as I saw it looked healthy!

I got home around 8am and went out to meet the new addition. It is nursing great, has gone p*e, getting up and laying down.

Definitely didn't expect an all black horse since its mom is bay and dad was typical Belgian colors, but looks just like its grand dad that was percheron.

No work for today, just keeping an eye on it and momma but she is doing great as a first time momma!

Now the big question, Boy or Girl?

You will have to wait for that, as my daughter said she wants to know first, when she gets home from school. Keep an eye out for that announcement later on :)

Olivia started to bag up the last 2 days! Hopefully the baby will be coming in a few days! Stay tuned for updates and pray for a healthy birthing process for them both :) 🐎

Got the pasture mowed down today, so we can see the baby better when it makes its appearance!

Hay season 2026 finished up this week!

The barn is full and the horses are all set for the winter. Got all my hay done in 8 days, which is probably a record for me!

Olivia is 8 months along now! 3 more to go. If you see her lounging in the pasture, fully sprawled, she's just tired from growing that baby haha.
