The Paris arena has been watered and worked for the week.

There are no reservations and the arena is available for public use all week.

We we're able to upgrade the Black Widow after this year's Bear Lake Junior Rodeo and now use a bigger tractor.

Huge thank you to J5 Cattle and Tyson Hansen for sponsoring the new, bigger tractor for grooming the arena.

We also want to thank Wayne Thomas for helping get us this far with his tractor all summer.

Please put the barrels up at the Paris arena when you're finished or the water truck won't water the arena and then it won't get worked that week. One person ruins it for everyone else.

The dust has settled from this year's Bear Lake Junior Rodeo and we are already working on next year!

First and foremost, Thank You to all of this year's sponsors! We can't do this without everyone of you.

And we sure can't put on such a great rodeo without our amazing stock contractor CT Rodeo and our awesome bull fighters and pony muggers!

We want to thank all of the rodeo staff for the professionalism that they all bring to the table.

And last but definitely not least, thank you to all of the gate volunteers. We sure appreciate all of you.

We paid out $18,626 in prizes and money this year!

1 contestant won a $1500 entry fee, room and stall for the ALL IN Barrel Race!

1 contestant won a $1500 entry fee, room and stall for the ALL IN Breakaway Roping!

32 contestants qualified for Mike and Sherrylynn Johnson's Vegas Tuffest Jr World Championship!

2 contestants qualified for Junior NFR / Junior Roughstock World Finals!

Next year's rodeo will be held on Monday, the 5th of July at the Paris Fairgrounds.

What would you like to see us improve on or do differently next year? You can comment here or PM Jason Christensen or feel free to give me a call at 435-881-6917.

We will be running slack in the morning next year so we can increase the contestant numbers and the payouts! The performance will start at 6:00 PM and run until 9:00 PM.

We will be adding $4500 to the prize pot! $500 for each event!

We will be running water to faucets on the south side of the calf return alley so that water is easier for all the contestants to access.

We will be adding a chute judge, timer and buzzer to eliminate any issues with DQs.

We will be placing the dumpsters in more central locations.

We will get the entry area worked up better outside the arena so that you don't have the abrupt change in the ground on the way into the arena.

We have barrel man and the incredibly funny Randy Munns booked for next year's performance!

We will be adding a lot more Mutton Busting contestants.

We will be bringing back the adult pig chase!

We are making a lot of improvements on the arena right now to improve cowboy and animal athlete safety and improve efficiency.

Let us know what else we can do to make it a better experience for the contestants, their families and the spectators!
