Cyclospora Outbreak, Context changes everything.

Update (July 22, 2026): Health officials continue investigating the Cyclospora outbreak. Illnesses have been reported nationwide, and the overall investigation remains ongoing.

Cyclospora is a parasite, not a bacterium or a virus, and health officials continue to recommend eating fresh fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy diet while following normal food safety practices.
