We recently finished shoot thinning at the Estate vineyard, one of the many important moments in shaping the growth, balance, and future of these young vines. 🌱🍇

In this video, Guillaume walks through the differences in our approach to shoot thinning our Grenache and Chardonnay vines, each guided by the varietal’s character and long-term vision for the Estate. The Grenache is cordon pruned to help channel its natural vigor and energy, while the Chardonnay is cane pruned with a focus on precision, structure, and finesse as the vines develop.

These vines were grafted just last year, making this season especially exciting. Even at this early stage, every decision in the vineyard, every shoot selected and every vine shaped, is helping lay the foundation for the future of the Estate and the wines it will one day produce.

Here’s to the moms who keep everything together and somehow make it look effortless.

Today, we’re celebrating Chloe and Solène, and all the women who bring so much care, strength, and energy into each day. We’re so grateful for all that you do. We’re raising a glass to you.

Happy Mother’s Day 🥂

Budbreak is the vineyard’s first awakening after winter, the moment dormant vines come back to life as delicate green shoots begin to emerge. It marks the beginning of a new growing season and the very first chapter of a new vintage. It’s one of the most hopeful times in the vineyard each year.

At our estate vineyard, budbreak arrives a bit later than much of Paso’s west side due to the cooler climate. Right now, there’s a wide range of development across the estate: Chardonnay and Grenache are among the furthest along, while Cabernet Sauvignon is only just beginning to wake. From block to block, the vineyard is beginning to tell the story of the season ahead. 🍃🍇

It’s been a beautiful, green start to spring! We’ve had 22 inches of rain at our estate vineyard, setting the stage for a vibrant season. The hillsides are lush, and the soils are replenished - exactly what we hope to see as we head into the growing season 🌱

As we begin a new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on 2025 - a year shaped by progress, patience, and the many meaningful moments shared. From milestones in the vineyard to time spent together around the table and in the tasting room, this year offered many reminders of why we love what we do.

Thank you for being part of our story, for sharing these moments with us, and for continuing to support a vision that’s still unfolding. We’re raising a glass to everything 2025 gave us, and to all that’s ahead. 🍷✨

The vines at the estate are just starting to change from green to gold, but the sunset the other night brought all the color, painting the vineyard in full fall light - a beautiful way to end our first major rainstorm of the season.

Scenes from harvest 🍇

Our team picked Cabernet Sauvignon under the moonlight at Parrish Vineyard, taking advantage of the cool nighttime temperatures. Arriving at the winery before dawn, the fruit begins its journey with a cold soak - a gentle process that draws out color and character as the 2025 vintage begins to take shape.

Lapsus is a love letter to Paso Robles and our tribute to the creative nature of the region. Born from the story of the infamously mistaken grapes, Graciano and the Spanish clone of Mourvèdre, Lapsus unites the vibrant acidity of Graciano with the earthy richness of the Mourvèdre. Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure, while a touch of cool-climate Syrah adds aromatic lift, crafting a wine of velvety density and mineral-driven freshness.
