🚨 WE REALLY NEED OUR COMMUNITY RIGHT NOW. 🚨
We are currently caring for what is probably the largest number of dogs we have ever had at one time other than a hoarding situation. We are a small shelter in Ocean County, NJ, helping dogs from across a large portion of the county, and the number of dogs needing somewhere to go just keeps growing.
This is not sustainable. We need adoptions, we need rescue group, and just as importantly, we need people to SHARE our dogs. Every share puts them in front of someone new. You truly never know when your share will reach the person who has been waiting for that exact dog. ❤️
And today, we need you to share BIGGIE!
If you like your dogs extra large, extra goofy and completely unaware of their own size… Biggie might just be your guy. 😂❤️
Biggie is an approximately 3-year-old American Bulldog who is officially on the adoption floor and ready to find his people! This big, handsome guy is friendly, playful and basically an oversized puppy packed into one very powerful body.
Biggie previously showed some guarding with a high-value chew, so he was recently retested and he passed! 👏 He is ready to start meeting potential families.
Because Biggie is a big, strong boy, we are looking for someone with dog experience, preferably experience with larger breeds. He will benefit from structure, consistency, crate training and continued work on his leash skills. Older children would be best simply because Biggie is… well, BIGGIE. 😂
🐾 Approximately 3 years old
🐾 Neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccines
🐾 Friendly, goofy and playful
🐾 Large-breed experience preferred
🐾 Older children due to his size and strength
🐾 Slow introductions with other dogs recommended
He’s a lot of dog, but he’s also a whole lot of FUN. ❤️
Even if Biggie isn’t the dog for you, PLEASE SHARE HIM. Our kennels are full, our dogs are waiting, and we need our community more than ever.
