I didn’t get a milk test in last month due to a series of events. I didn’t realize I was low on the sample vials. When I requested more the main lady was out sick and my email got lost. So here is the latest milk weights. For those new here, these are nigerian dwarf dairy goats. I do milk test every month to monitor them and prove the genetics. It helps me decide who needs improvement, and which genetics are doing well here. It tests the fat content and protein. I’ll post those when the results get in. A gallon of milk weight roughly 8 lbs. These goat range from 60-100 lbs. The weights listed is total lbs in a 24 hour period. DIM id days in milk. My mature girls kidded last spring and are very capable of milking for a long time. I’m happy with everyone except mental, she seems to be going through a mineral deficiency and we are working on it, she just hast kept up this year. Here are some udder pictures.
