Schell Family Farm We are a 1st generation Agritourism farm that opened to the public in 2019. Our u-pick crops include fruits, vegetables, flowers and Christmas trees.

Visit our market where we serve snacks such as donuts, apple c***r slushies and Ashby's Ice cream.

We apologize for the delay in this week's update, but here it is!
For the weekend of 10/16 -10/18:

We still have lots of beautiful u-pick pumpkins and mums to choose.

This weekend's apples are Fuji, Cameo and Red Cameo.

The apple cannon is firing!

Since Fall officially starts tomorrow, we are starting our fall hours today! 🍂

Monday - Wednesday 4 pm-7 pm
Thursday & Friday 12 pm -7 pm
Saturday & Sunday 10 am - 7pm, tractor rides 11am - 3 pm (weather permitting)
**No entrance fees**

The weekly hours that we are not opened are used for class and organization field trips. Our schedule is filling up. If your group is interested, make sure you email us before it's too late to get on the calendar.

Thursday - blueberry w/ blueberry glaze

This weekend's (9/18-9/20) update!

It looks like it may be a wet fall weekend. No worries, though, we will be open for u-pick, delicious goodies, and exploring! Our fields are mostly sand (not much mud), so put on your boots and bring an umbrella or rain coat and embrace the rain that helps our food grow!

Donut schedule -
Every day - apple c***r donuts either cinnamon-sugar and plain
Friday - chocolate and pumpkin
Saturday- cherry and blueberry
Sunday - strawberry and pumpkin

We have lots of ripe -pick tomatoes if you are thinking about canning this weekend!
1/2 peck - $6, 1 peck - $10, 1/2 bushel - $16, and 1 bushel - $30

U-pick pumpkins are ready!

Decorative pumpkins and mums are out and ready to decorate your spaces.

U-pick apples - Honeycrisp, gala, and golden delicious, and McIntosh.

Wagon rides 11-3, weather dependent.

This is the last weekend we are open until 8pm. Next week our fall hours start - Mon-Wed 4-7, Th/Fri 12-7, Sat/Sun 10-7.

U-pick flowers, tomatoes, corn and mums (are mums u-pick?? 🤔 You do pick them from where they were grown...)

Tractor rides 11am- 3pm

Donut Schedule:
Saturday - plain, cinn/sugar, blueberry and cherry
Sunday - plain, cinn/sugar, blueberry, chocolate and pumpkin (back for the season! Woo hoo!)

Have you tried our pizza yet? We think its amazing with our homemade sauce!

We are looking for 1 more adult (18+ years old) for all shifts, and someone that can work weekdays for fieldtrips (homeschool kids are perfect for this!) If you know anyone interested, please have them contact us. Much appreciated!

The farm is closed today.
We need to apologize! We made a mistake on the last post. It was only supposed to be September 4th - 6th. We are sorry for any confusion or inconvenience this caused! Of course the mistake had to be the one day that makes sense that we may be open.
Again we are so sorry for this.

There's a lot going on at the farm this weekend, Sept. 4th - 7th!

We have power which means normal business hours Fri 12-8, Sat-Sun 10-8!

~U-pick apples - gala, and McIntosh
Zestars are still available in the market, along with honeycrisp
~U-pick corn - Super sweet!
Side note - we made some last night, simply boiled in water, that was picked Sunday. It was amazing!! Farmer Chris didnt realize it was plain with no butter or salt. So crunchy and sweet. 6 dzn/$20.
~ U-pick tomatoes are starting to turn red. Come pick a bunch for canning!
~Mums - they are just starting to flower. Come get them and enjoy the process of turning from green to the beautiful color as the buds open!
~ U-pick flowers - still blooming making some excellent bouquets
~Pears have been picked and ready in the market

Keep the kids entertained with the FREE corn maze, pigs and playground!

We had very little damage from Thursday storms. One tree fell into the corn and several mums on their side but that seems to be it.

Our fields are mostly sand so very few mud spots! Come on out and visit!

Due to the forecasted weather, and already receiving a tornado warning, we decided it would be the best to close for today. We apologize for any inconvenience, but we need to put our employees first. We hope to see everyone this weekend! There will be a post coming shortly with what we will be offering.
