It's the beginning of harvest season for apples, but as the b**r nerds know, we've already been in the thick of fresh hop season for a few weeks.
This year we decided to take a day off for a field trip to the venerable Westwood Farms to check out how hops are grown, harvested, dried and distributed. These folks were so welcoming and awesome to us, it's almost making me tear up.
They grow some amazing varietals using Salmon-Safe practices 🐟 , which we are passionate about, and it was really neat to see how this beautiful plant is grown.
