A Little Secret to Share
This marks our 19th year of gardening and nearly 10 years of sharing our harvest with local families. I can assure you, it looks nothing like it did in years past. Yet, at times, it feels as though we're still in in the beginning stages. I guess that's because no one ever "arrives" and we keep on learning. 😉

As we sit and enjoy this God-given freedom, remember that love for anything (even God and country) requires sacrifice, and many have laid down their lives for you and your family to enjoy moments like sitting around a bonfire, sipping ice-cold tea, watching the kids play, and listening to the birds sing. Freedom is a price paid with sacrifice.

Our milk soap officially launches on June 1st! You can expect to find a growing selection on our on-farm market tables beginning June 9th and of course our online farm store!

Our milk soaps are made with only fresh natural and nutritious organic ingredients that carry with them a stamp of trust.

Our milk soaps are crafted with our farm’s rich, creamy cow’s milk and pasture-raised lard, free from antibiotics and hormones. Naturally rich in omega-3s and vitamins A, D, and E. While the old-fashioned lard’s cellular structure closely mirrors that of human skin, allowing the soap to be absorbed effortlessly, locking in moisture giving a truly clean feel. 🧼🥛

It was a bustling weekend, yet we managed to carve out some time to relax. We must put in extra effort to achieve this, as our farming lifestyle choice seldom allows us to set our work aside. It’s more challenging than it may appear. I’m truly grateful for a beautiful farm where we can unwind, because if you’re going to be glued to something, it certainly helps. 🙃

All but two were able to gather for part of the day. The day concluded with fishing in the pond, enjoying s'mores around the fire, sharing laughter, and engaging in silly games.

No matter where you find yourself in this season of life as a woman – whether you’re navigating the little years, experiencing teenage moments, grieving, or filled with hope – remember your worth as a woman. Regardless of your current stage, YOU can leave a legacy that can reshape the future for so many through the choices you make today. 🌹🙃🌹

My family is committed to our Herdshare farm families 24/7, 365 days a year, and we value our herd-shareholders very highly because without them we could not continue providing liquid gold.

Our micro-dairy is the most time-consuming part of our farm. We literally dedicate our mornings, evenings, holidays, and vacations to it. I guess you could say, our jersey girls and herdshare families are quite spoiled. 🙃
