Unwrap nature's candy! 🍬

Husk cherries, also known as ground cherries, are the sweetest little treats you never knew you needed. With their unique papery husks (natural wrapper), they're like bite-sized gifts packed with flavor and oh so much healthy goodness. These tiny delights are rich in vitamins A and C, boosting your immune system while satisfying your sweet tooth naturally. Who knew healthy could taste this good?

What does a husk cherry taste like? The texture resembles biting into a cherry tomato or a grape, only the flavor to us has a hint of sweet pineapple, maybe a dash of vanilla and a hint of sour.

YOU were used by God to take the impossible and turn it into something truly spectacular and amazing! We truly have the most amazing farm supporters!

Just like this unexpected bloom showing up on the Magnolia tree in August, so has our incredible support from our community of families showing up big time last week!

We have made it to the halfway mark in just six days to the puchase of our new bulk tank goal. Your generous and unexpected donations, additional purchases, uplifting words, and countless prayers and hugs have been invaluable to us this past week, and they will remain essential in the days to come!

Just when we began to feel disheartened, many of you stepped up to show us how important Eden Ridge is to you. So humbled. So blown away!

Farming is hard. Is food freedom really worth it?

This morning we discovered our old milk cooler is no longer regulating proper milk temps. We are feeling quite overwhelmed right now. This cooler situation presents a significant financial challenge, and I must admit, it’s really stressful to contemplate where those extra funds will come from. So many families count on us!

We are praying that God provides in a big way. We knew this would come eventually and in the farming world things happen quickly and often times it's hard to catch up from the last hurdle or challenge. Today reminded us again, farming isn't for the faint of heart and it's just plain expensive!

Our farm is not a hobby; it’s our family's livelihood. Our Herdshares are essential for maintaining our operations and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Our raw milk is large part of who we are for the families we serve on a weekly basis.

ASKING FOR YOUR HELP
Friends, this is a humbling moment – If you are able to contribute financially, would you consider making a donation to assist in acquiring a new bulk cooling tank? Take a moment to admire that amazing Tamatillo heart, discovered by one of our boys in the gardens last week. Naturally munched and shaped by a pesky little bug, serving as a reminder that even in difficult times, God brings forth beauty. Little did that bug realize that its mission was to consume and wreak havoc. What was intended for "evil" ultimately served as a profound reminder that God remains steadfast and is always ever good!

There's wittling and sometimes munching wonders happening all around us. Look for the beauty after the rain! 🐛💛

The delicious juicy joys of summer are finally here! We just harvested our first batch of cantaloupes, and more melons are on their way!

All grown with love using non-GMO seeds and without chemicals—yes, it's a bit harder to do, but so worth it! Our tables are bursting with freshness, although our beans have taken a little hit from the heat we were having.
