We have been lucky to be neighbors with Dee from Guzzetti’s Indian Food at farmers markets for the last three year—she is a good friend and an even better cook. Last year, her family acquired Great Harvest Chico in honor of her son. She has been keeping us stocked up on yummy bread ever since. This has been a staple this summer, all the peppers you can fit in a pan, sautéd and added to a grilled cheese opened back. Finish it off with heirloom tomatoes. Stop by both our booths tomorrow at the Redding Farmers Markets from 7:30-noon behind City Hall for fresh, organic produce, Indian food, and bread!

I thought we were done with the melon posts but the fields surprised us today, TWO truck loads of watermelon heading to the Redding Farmers Markets tomorrow! One load is crimson sweet (heirloom) and the other is juice box (our popular hybrid). We will also have organic tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, basil and flowers! See you at the market!

Another day, another truck load of melon! All of this Crenshaw is headed for you Red Bluff, tonight August 5th 5pm to 8pm by the old court house. You sold us out fast last week so come for the melon and stay for the lovely tunes from Cisco Bobadilla and Friends. Acoustic original set followed by an electric set with the whole band! See you tonight!

This week included SHISH*TO PEPPERS, heirloom tomatoes, edible flowers, fresh herbs, bell peppers, cucumbers, and melon!
