It has been a slow day at the farm today.

At one point, I noticed Emma carrying a few games outside. A little while later, I looked out and saw her sitting at a picnic table playing Guess Who? with our employee, Alivia.

It reminded me what people are really supporting when they support a small business.

Yes, you’re helping a local farm grow—but you’re also helping us provide a job for a teenager like Alivia. For us I’m happy that our kids grow up surrounded by people who know who are willing to pause and play a game on a slow afternoon.

Small businesses are built through moments and relationships like these.
