Day 330-335. Hostage negotiations seem to be going nowhere. We have evidence that the hostage is still located inside and can see movement but we haven't been able to determine when we can get our hands on her/him. Stay tuned for more updates as the siege continues.

We have been asked several times about our upcoming foal so we probably need to do an update! Last breeding season was a bit chaotic and we weren't very good at keeping track of dates that breedings took place. So while our Cali was showing many signs of impending foaling, no foal appeared! We finally got tired of this uncertainty and did some bloodwork. Four agonizing days after pulling blood, we got the good news. Apparently, we weren't making this whole pregnancy thing up in our heads and Cali is around 323-328 days along as of today. Woohoo!

Looking at the dates, it is not possible that the original breedings took and she was bred by our other stallion once turned out for the fall/winter. While it isn't the breeding we hoped for, it is an excellent repeat breeding and should give us an outstanding foal!!!

So proud of Emily Foltz and her gorgeous yearling from us, Cardinal Ridge Wicked Shelby! Shelby showed great and ended up with Reserve Grand Champion! It wasn't a big show but it hard to miss all the hard work Emily has put into training, conditioning and showing Shelby. We are very proud breeders!

***UPDATE - Danny is once again available as the buyer has not followed through. I have a list of people who were interested if the sale fell through but can't seem to find it! (Old age sucks!). So here is your opportunity to add this gorgeous boy to your herd! PM me for more info!***

Reality has hit and I just don't have room for another stallion. Danny is looking for a new pasture when weaned. He is a lovely red boy with a fantastic pedigree! This one will get attention in the show ring and on the farm!

He is double registered LP/n PATN1/PATN1, loves attention and is easy to work with. We will be clipping him again soon and will post some better pictures then. Should mature under 34".

Breakfast time for the mamma and baby duos. So happy with these foals. I do wonder what's in Emi's milk that makes it more interesting than the feed!
