Good morning folks, well it looks like we are going to get one last taste of summer temperatures this week. Tomorrow starts our market week at Blythewood Farmers Market followed by The Lake Carolina Farmers Market on Thursday and it certainly appears the weather will be dry and warm. Good morning folks, this season is winding down but there is still time to enjoy some late summer produce, the farm stand is open Friday 4-7 and Saturday 8-12. This week is the perfect time to get some okra to put in the freezer for the winter, or to satisfy your squash cravings before cooler weather shuts it down and we have some very sweet muscadines for you to enjoy before they are all gone.

Good morning folks, I haven't done a farm cat update in a while, only have one of the three kittens that were born in May but momma cat is due to have another litter within the next week. Tomorrow starts our market week at Blythewood Farmers Market followed by The Lake Carolina Farmers Market on Thursday, and of course the farm stand will be open Friday and Saturday. Good morning folks, we have made it to October, the farm stand is open Friday 4-7 and Saturday 8-12. This is the time of year my mind turns from produce to hunting , we will be open and working markets for the entire month of October (but I will be getting some woods time mixed in) and will shut down for the year at the end of this month.

Good morning folks, as I look over the tomato patch this morning I reflect on this entire season as we enter the final month of our market season , this is always a bittersweet time of the year for me ,while I look forward to a more laid back schedule I also realize that I won't be seeing many of you but a few more times this year. Good morning folks, it's that time again,tomorrow starts our market week at Blythewood Farmers Market followed by The Lake Carolina Farmers Market on Thursday. We are starting the week off with plenty of pinkeye peas available. The end of this season is starting to come into focus, hard to believe I only have 7 more weeks before I shut down for the year, but I must admit I am looking forward to some much needed solitary time spent in the woods, and the fellowship that comes with hunting season.
