Today we said goodbye to Mr.Howdy. I am so proud of Finley and myself for raising our first legitimate farm born calf, doing an amazing job in the show rings and then walking ever-so bravely into the auction ring and selling all our hard work to someone else. We both may have shed a few tears saying good bye but Iā€™m glad my child understands that itā€™s okay to be sad but this was just part of farm life and she was okay with it.

Little does she know she is getting two tiny four legged friends tomorrow. Stay tuned to see what I bring home for her šŸ„°

Raise on a bottle
Was dehorned because we had plans to keep her but plans have changed. My 5 year old showed her as a bottle calf and she is halter broke. She is currently with our bull but no signs are getting bred so can not guarantee she is. With being part mini highland ļæ¼I think she may have another year before she will get bred.
