To breed in a couple weeks or wait longer... decisions, decisions.
This one won't be ready for a while. It's a young fox (torted otter). I'm feeling quite confident that this one is a fox with the good "sooty" look, and how it looked in the nest box. Versus a dirty orange. I've had and see a lot of dirty oranges. Others mistake their dirty oranges for torted otter. It is tricky 🙂

Quite proud of this idea! Made ice pack baskets from extra wire I had. Attached with hog rings so I can easily remove this fall. But now they can lay on the ice packs without chewing on them 🙂
Felt the wire after a couple of hours (the ones who let me move them off of the ice pack lol) and it felt like a nice, cool spot.

If not local and interested, please start looking at pre-approved transport routes. I'll meet around Spartanburg, Woodruff, Roebuck South Carolina.
Transport options: KDFT, Dunn's, Raisin Trails, Colleen, Barnett, Six Feathers, Wild Hops, Paws Across America, and maybe a couple others I'm not thinking of.
