We are so excited to be a part of Santa Fe Community Market
This will be a must for all you Temple, Belton and surrounding area residents. The venue is set up so nicely with family friendly areas, fun activity yard that will have games for all ages, live music with every market and a street of food trucks to grab lunch at.
Every 3rd Saturday of the month they will host a farmers market with local vendors. What makes us even more excited is their thorough screening process for vendors ensuring you get quality, local, vendor raised or made products. And we met many of the vendors to be participating in this market and let me say, they’re amazing!!
So don’t miss out on the first market and ribbon cutting September 19th!! Market will be open 9-1 with raffles being given away every hour of the day to those attending and yes, we will be bringing our bees for all to oo and ahh over up close without a worry of being stung!

Come see us and as incentive to helping us spread the word about this new market,
⭐️ ⭐️ SHARE THIS POST on Facebook and/or Instagram and then tag someone in the comments who you know likes farmers markets ⭐️ ⭐️
Once you do that your name will be put in a raffle for a handful of Respite Bee Farm’s very best raw and flavored honey!! Thats over $50 value of our honey just for spreading the word! We will announce the winner a few days before the market and the lucky person can pick up their bundle of liquid gold at the market on the 19th. See you there!!

If you’ve been looking for a hot honey with real smoky flavor, this is it.

Our Smokin’ Hot Honey is handcrafted with our raw wildflower honey and locally grown peppers. We smoke, dehydrate, and blend the peppers ourselves before infusing them into the honey. The result is a rich, smoky flavor that’s hard to find in a typical hot honey.

It’s just as good drizzled over grilled chicken and a charcuterie board as it is on pizza, biscuits, vanilla ice cream, or mixed into a spicy margarita.

We’ll be at the Salado Farmers Market this Saturday with plenty of samples, so if you’ve been curious about our Smokin’ Hot Honey, stop by and give it a try. We’d love to see you there.

The sad reality behind what’s happening to SOO many properties and farms. Solar took over much to all that surrounds us but now this power plant is impending even more consequences that most people don’t even seem to know. If we keep thinking so little of farmers and ranch or open land we better be ready to have little locally grown product. Or stomachs the fact it will cost a hand and foot more. Please support our fellow beekeeping friends and buy honey from them and then also go out and vote in a way that supports land and farmers! There’s also a group started called Stop Temple Data centers that’s fighting hard to have the temple city council disciplined and recalled due to approving so many massive projects that the population obviously doesn’t approve of.

Wood spool hive!
These are always fun and this one was MUCH bigger than expected yet all went well. Minus my phone falling midway through recording and it starting to rain thus, not much footage.
Yet we got the queen and bees moved over and now they’re nestled safe and sound on the farm. Another good day of removing and rescuing.

Bees in your soffit? This one was no small job. We showed up to this Central Texas property and what looked like one colony turned into three. Eight hours later, we had removed every single colony, pulled out all the comb, and patched everything up tight so no future swarm could move back in. When we say we do it right, we mean it — no shortcuts, no chemicals, no leaving comb behind to attract the next wave of bees. These girls were relocated to a safe spot where they can keep doing what God designed them to do — pollinating, producing, and flourishing the way He intended. If you’ve got bees in your soffit, don’t wait and don’t spray. Call us first.

Healthy Soil → Better Food

Have you ever noticed how some food just tastes… better? More flavorful. More satisfying.

That doesn’t happen by accident.

The quality of our food is directly connected to the health of the soil it was grown in.

When soil is alive and balanced:
→ Food carries more flavor
→ It contains a wider range of nutrients
→ It is more nourishing—not just filling

At Regenerative Revival, we’re bringing that connection to life—literally on your plate.

We’ll be serving:

🔥 Brisket from MMM Cattle Co
🔥 Goat from Moody Goat
🔥 Lamb from Rylan Mikeska

Prepared by chefs like JayB, who cook with intention, connection, and a deep respect for where food comes from.

This isn’t just a meal.
It’s a chance to taste the difference.

👉 Come hungry—and curious.

🎟 Free entry
🍽 Plates available ($25 presale / $35 at the event)

Most mornings I’m up before the sun. Not because beekeeping demands it, though it does, but because there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all of it right.
I work full time as a nurse. I come home and I put on a veil. I do bee removals on weekends and evenings, pull frames when the light’s almost gone, and somewhere in the middle of all of it I’m trying to build something my sons can put their hands on one day. Something that was worth the tired.
That’s what Respite Bee Farm is. It’s not a hobby and it’s not yet the whole thing. It’s the work between the work, and we treat it like it matters because it does.
We do live bee removals across Central Texas. McLennan County, Bell County, Williamson County, Travis County, and Milam County. Waco, Temple, Georgetown, Florence, and everywhere in between. We relocate colonies instead of exterminating them, move them out to the farm, and let them do what they were made to do.
If you’re a landowner thinking about bees for your ag exemption, that’s a conversation worth having. It’s one of the quietest investments you can make in your land and one that pays in more ways than one.
This is what building something looks like from the inside. Most days it’s exhausting and exactly right.

We got a call out in Rogers Texas about a swarm that somehow made its way into an outdoor speaker

When we opened it up there was a full cluster tucked inside so we carefully started a live humane removal

Best part we were able to find the queen which is what lets us move the whole colony together instead of killing them

Watch the end of the video we dump the bees into the box and you can actually see them start marching in on their own They smell their queen and just follow her home its one of the coolest things to watch

If you are searching for humane bee removal near me in Central Texas we cover Temple Belton and surrounding areas We always relocate never exterminate

If you have bees in a wall roof or even something as random as a speaker send us a message and we will come take a look

Did you know that beekeeping can seriously cut down your property taxes if you own land out in Bell, Williamson, or McLennan County. A lot of folks round here dont realize that there land could qualify for a Texas Agricultural Exemption, and honeybees are one of the simplest ways to make it happen.
That is where Respite Bee Farm comes in.
We work with landowners right here in Central Texas to place and manage beehives on your property so you can qualify for the beekeeping ag exemption and keep more money in your pocket where it belongs. Savings vary depending on your county, acreage, and land value but its not uncommon for landowners to save over a thousand dollars a year. The higher your property taxes are now the more you stand to gain.
Here is how it works real simple like. If you own somewhere between 6 and 20 acres in Bell, Williamson, or McLennan County you could be eligible. One acre is set aside for your home and everythin on it, and the remainin 5 to 19 acres is what can qualify for the ag valuation. You host a minimum of six honeybee colonies on that land, document five years of qualifying agricultural use, and your property gets appraised at agricultural productivity value instead of market value. The diffrence in your tax bill can be real significant.
The best part is you do not have to know a single thing about bees to get started. Respite Bee Farm handles all the hive setup, the maintanence, and the documentation to keep your land in compliance every single year. We take care of the bees so you can take care of everthing else.
Good land deserves good stewardship. Let the bees work for you.
Send us a message or check the link in our bio to learn more about getting started with the beekeeping ag exemption right here in Central Texas.
