Heads up! This weekend all plants left are going to be "pay what you can". It's time to clear them out and get them in the ground with this heat! If you are part of my plant CSA and still have some left to pick up please message me to come out this week and get yours before they are gone.

I also plan to continue doing "pay what you can" day every Sunday again this season once larger amounts of produce starts coming in soon.

I believe everyone deserves access to healthy locally grown food regardless of income etc! You support me and I want to give back however I can. That's how healthy communities work :)

Have some overachiever Beets ready to pick. I should have some by next weekend. Rainbow Carrots getting close. Onions are starting to bulb up nicely and looking like it's going to be a great crop! Garlic is scaping. This warm weather is really speeding up growth.

PS - for the new Garlic growers out there when you see the scape, pull it! It's the flowering head and by pulling it the plant concentrates all of its strength into forming bigger bulbs. The scapes are also edible and super tasty!

A bit late in the day but I did just put 13 more pints of sugar snap peas out. That's all I've had a chance to pick today. I was out until 10:00 p.m. planting sweet potato slips last night. My day yesterday started at 4:00 a.m. getting the stand ready so I needed some down time this morning after an 18 hour day 😵

I just put some really nice Oyster Mushrooms out thanks to the Coopers! Produce is pretty well cleaned out with the exception of Radishes, Turnips and some Greens. Still a good selection of Pepper plants, Jam and other random stuff.

I've been blown away by your support and business this season! Thank you. Doing my best to keep things stocked up. I upped my plantings on almost everything this year and soon there will be more produce than you all can handle LOL

I'm open Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. until dark! I'm all set up a bit early today so come on by.

I've still got a decent selection of plants but this will be the last weekend. There's some free will donation plants out there as well that I lost track of what they were or are a little rough and just need a little TLC!

Just a few notes... Please do not take the baskets that the produce are in. Empty container into a bag and leave the basket.

Please park along the fence line in an orderly manner. Do not block the driveway or pull up in front of the stand unless you have mobility issues. I am also happy to help anyone with mobility issues shop here if you write me ahead of time and set up an appointment.

Self-serve. I'm located right off the I-35 St Charles exit number 52 on the southwest side of the interstate on G50 highway. If you don't know where that is send a message for exact address.

Thank you for supporting local and sustainable agriculture.

I was able to pick a decent little amount of Sugar Snap Peas for tomorrow! I also snagged some Amish homegrown Iowa Tomatoes 😋🍅

Will also have lettuce, kale, broccolini, cabbage, new potatoes, turnips, radishes, leeks, green onions, kohlrabi, black walnuts, jams and jelly, maple syrup and more! Still have some starter plants but your time is running out to get them.

Open all weekend rain or shine 10:00 a.m. until dark! Hope to see you. Thank you for supporting local and sustainable agriculture.

Zucchini coming in at the same time as Sugar Snaps?! What a weird year but I'll take it LOL

These Zucchini were fully grown outdoors with no row covers. I transplanted them out mid April and they made it through those couple close calls with temps right above freezing and here we are. Sometimes the gamble pays off 😁

PS - I might have some limited amounts of Sugar Snaps at the stand this weekend. Right now it's been just me and my pups eating them but they're starting to come in pretty good!

Spent the day picking! Kohlrabi and Turnips coming in.
