There is just something about living in the country that makes life a little more enjoyable. 🐮❤️

It’s going to be hard to watch these little guys leave, but they are ready for their next chapter. We know they’ll bring so much joy, personality, and love to their new homes and families. 🏡

At Next Level Highlands, we truly love what we do and take great pride in producing top-quality Miniature Highlands with exceptional genetics, structure, and temperament—so others can experience the same joy of raising these amazing animals on their own homesteads.

It’s bittersweet watching them go, but knowing they are going to great homes makes it all worth it. ❤️

Well, today is the day we get to try out the new stock our amazing 👏 team at Next Level Highlands built specifically for Holly.

With Holly being such a big Draft horse, our priority is keeping Holly, the vet, and the farrier safe. After the recommendation to build a stock specifically for her size, our team went to work—and today we finally got to put it to the test. 💪🐴

This will also be used for other animals on the farm should be need a safe environment to work on them.

Gryfinn was brought down for a little emotional support, and Holly did GREAT! ❤️ She handled everything like a champ.

Another successful step toward making her hoof care safer and easier for everyone involved.

Today Holly is getting her feet trimmed! 🐴✂️

Because Holly is such a big girl, we built a stock at the request of our farrier to make handling her safer, easier, and more comfortable for everyone. It’s all about making sure she gets the care she needs while keeping everyone safe.

On our walk to the barn, Lil Tux, Fiona & Lil Ramses had to stop and say hello. 🐮❤️

Sure, they’re ridiculously cute… but Mini Highlands can bring a little more to the table than just looking adorable in your pasture. 🐮🤎

🌱 They’re natural landscapers. Grazing can help manage pasture growth and vegetation while putting your acreage to productive use.

🐮 Big personality, smaller package. Their smaller stature can make them an appealing livestock option for farms and homesteads looking for something a little more manageable than full-sized cattle.

🌎 They give back to the land. With thoughtful pasture management, grazing cattle return manure and organic matter to the soil, helping cycle nutrients right back into the land they’re grazing.

🤎 They can be wonderful companions. With consistent handling, proper socialization and good care, Mini Highlands can be curious, friendly and incredibly fun animals to have around.

🥹 And… LOOK AT THEM. We’re sorry, but fluffy bangs and tiny noses absolutely count as a benefit.

Of course, cute and small doesn’t mean maintenance-free. Mini Highlands are still cattle and need appropriate pasture, secure fencing, shelter, companionship and proper care.

But if you have the space, the setup and a Mini Highland-sized hole in your heart (and pasture 👀), we happen to know a few pretty adorable candidates. 🐮🏡🤎

We’re proud to have Next Level Highlands in New York as one of our partner farms.

Nate Hover is one of those people who just gets business. He’s extremely smart, driven, customer-focused, and knows what it takes to be successful. He’s not afraid of hard work, and when he does something, he does it at the Next Level — literally.

Doing something mediocre isn’t in his vocabulary. That’s when I knew we would be a perfect fit. We don’t cut corners, we have high standards, and we truly live and breathe what we do.

And this past weekend, Nate did something that may have never been done before — he brought two of his calves right into downtown Saratoga Springs. And let’s just say… they were the talk of the town. 🐮

That’s Nate. He doesn’t sit around waiting for people to find him. He thinks differently, creates opportunities, builds relationships, and finds ways to get his business in front of people.

When you find people who operate with the same mindset you do, you don’t compete — you build together.

I’m excited about what Mini Moo Crew and Next Level Highlands are building. We’re just getting started.
