Veggie update here at Milby Farm: we are getting close to eating some yummy, farm-grown goodies. There are plenty of green tomatoes out there. This week's zucchini bread will be made from our zucchini, and we should be making zucchini pickles or relish soon. Great things are happening. Stop by the farmers market in West Point each Saturday 8am to 12noon for veggies grown 100% on our farm!

We had a little birthday party here at the farm this weekend to celebrate Mike's milestone birthday. So, if you see him today, wish him a Happy Birthday!

Nothing says "summer" like Watermelon! You've been asking for it, and Watermelon Jelly is back. We were gifted some 6 Oz. jars, so this special size will be available for $6 this Saturday at the West Point Farmers Market. Hope yo see you then!

We were gifted a bag of big, beautiful fresh beets, so we pickled them, of course! We will have 5 jars available this Saturday at the West Point Farmers Market, then 8 more next week until sold out. Get there early if you want a jar. The market runs 8 to noon.

Also, we are making more Strawberry Jalapeño and Strawberry Margarita Jams. The season is about over on these so grab yours before they are gone. See you Saturday!

The market is open Saturday at 8am until noon. Looks like we have some new vendors, and many of your favorites. Heading out of town for the holiday weekend? Drop by the market before you get on the road.

Milby Farm will have bags of fresh salad greens, beets and carrots. Also zucchini bread, strawberry jams, and wildflower jellies. We also still have some nice potted herbs for your garden.

No new items this week because of all the traveling I had to do, but stay tuned for some fan favorites returning next week.

This time last year, we had honey bottled and ready to go to market. But we have learned that each year is quite different. Good news is, we have more than we had a couple weeks ago. But it's not ready to harvest yet. Be patient. Good things come to those who wait!
