This week, our brave team led by Wesam Shaaban distributed fruits, vegetables, and basket goods for Mais, age 12, Fatema, age 9, and Yara, age 7, in Al-Samer Camp, South Gaza.
These children are fatherless.
Their wonderful father (Ahmed) died from an IDF stray bullet while sitting in front of his tent 28 months ago.
Father Ahmed was a loving dad who used to take his family on beautiful picnics, taught his children self-reliance, turned simple days into fun memories, balanced discipline and tenderness, listened to the needs of his kids, and always offered those he loved encouragement. In a moment, an entire world was lost.
Princess Mais, Sweet Fatema, and Beautiful Yara have other siblings including their youngest brother Jihad, age 2. They are under the care of their beloved mom (Rehab). Mother Rehab often struggles to find food, walks 4-5 km to community kitchens, and sometimes returns home with nothing.
Mais, Fatema, Yara, and their loved ones lost their family home on January, 2024 after it was bombed by the occupation. They have been forcibly displaced and made homeless 9 times.
According to our reports, these little angels had been eating only bread and rice for 3 days. They had not seen any fruits or vegetables in 16 months!
We Feed Gaza volunteers served them 43 kg of oranges, clementines, zucchini, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, lemons, eggplant, garlic, cheese, lentils, beans, canned meat, canned fish, canned okra, dates, biscuits, milk, tea, jelly, chocolate, yogurt, thyme, tahini, Maggi, sugar, starch, semolina, and sunflower oil.
Because of you, our team went above and beyond for these innocent souls of heaven.
Mais, Fatema, Yara, and their precious family, are beloved and seen.
