“Trauma when it is processing through you but repetitive is trying to get your attention. So for example, if you are going through anxiety attacks, that is your trauma asking you to help it change.

It is not naturally leaving through your life choices, your relationships, what you are exposing your yourself to. It is instead rising to the surface in pockets of anxiety to get your attention, to hopefully get you to look into how you can support your anxiety.

Are there things you need to understand about why you are being anxious?

Are there actions or habits you need to develop when the anxiety hits?

Is there supplementation you are missing?

Are you in a chemical imbalance that your body needs something?

And so the anxiety is a reaction.

So trauma tends to process in doses so you don’t lose your balance and so you can recalibrate other parts of you.

You see, people tend to think that trauma is the problem you need to get rid of. But if trauma has been part of you for 20 or 30 years, it is actually something you have been living with and learning to balance with.

So you tend to do it in layers.”

This is transformation—a metamorphosis of oils and milk solution into a entirely new molecular structure. In soap making, heat plays its part, initiating a beautiful chemical reaction.

But heat comes from numerous sources, fire being the most absolute. Fire transforms organic matter into ash, breaking down its molecules with heat and oxygen, leaving behind only dissipating gases and minerals. The once solid matter is changed forever; it went through a physical fire and came out as something entirely new.

I’ve been through a metaphysical fire and I’ve come out differently, too. I’m a new version of myself—one I love a whole lot more, attracting a world that truly aligns with my values.
