To our wonderful friends, students, and supporters:

Many of you have asked when classes and workshops will return, and I wanted to share a brief update.

The past few years have been full of changes. Between completing my doctorate, teaching, caring for our farm, family responsibilities, health challenges, and other life events, I have had to step back from hosting classes far more than I ever expected.

I also want to share that the SAFETY and PRIVACY of our family and our property must come first. Because of safety and privacy concerns affecting our family & our careers, we are making some changes to how we offer classes and workshops.

✔️Going forward, ALL workshops and classes will be by registration or invitation only.
✔️We ask that participants be people we know personally or come through a trusted referral.
👉This policy is simply one of the ways we are protecting our family while continuing to share our love of art, education and agriculture with others.

👉If you've wondered why I've been quieter than usual or why events have been postponed or canceled over the last 3 years, we hope this helps explain.

💙 Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and your continued support. It means more than you know. 💙

I look forward to creating with many of you again and welcoming you back to the studio as we move forward in a way that is safe, more comfortable, and sustainable for our entire family.

Saturday & Summer Studio Schedule Update:

🐑 🚜
We are replanting field-crops, moving & working with our large Shetland Sheep flock care & grazing management. We also have return to volunteer work with 4H & FFA. Our Sheep are scheduled to be sheared July 6. We have 2026 lambs up for discussion, call for appointments.

Since everyone is enjoying summer and we only had a couple interested in this workshop & Fiber Guild, I’ll just keep the studio door closed and cool until August 1st. July is always hot & busy with vacations for most. Cooler temps mean we move back indoors for crafting. We love Fall-Winter projects!

🇺🇸 Sheep shearing day was rescheduled for July 6th! So our ewes and lambs are keeping cool in the side paddock in shade and with their very own sprinklers & ‘kool-aid’ .

🧶 Stop in to watch them shorn on July 6th and see what we are up to and have to offer, cash & carry, at the Farm & Studio.
