Look what we have harvested! My little sizzle Henrietta has finally managed to be in sync with me so I could put eggs under her. I always hand pick the eggs to make sure they are round so we have little girls. They are very good layers although they are only 8 inches tall! Love ❤️ these sizzles! Oh yes and we also have produce! Please pm me to see what else we have.

Thank you to Honey Creek Farm for being our Girl Scout troop’s host yesterday for a honey extraction. This was wonderful support for our Bugs badge work. We appreciated the ability to suit-up and help with the frames as well as seeing the extraction process up close. We learned so much about the importance of bees to our food supply and how our actions can affect them. The taste-test seemed to be very popular as well!

Thanks again for sharing your hives and knowledge with us. We appreciate it!
Jeff is preparing a frame for honey extraction while 8 girl scouts and 10 adults look on.
