Please arrive in time to be finished picking by the ending times. More dates may be added.
All dates are weather permitting and subject to crop availability.
GPS address for the blueberry patch is 3695 Central Point Road, Cantrall, Illinois or you can check in at our market at 1016 Jefferies Road, Springfield, Illinois for directions to the blueberries, which are 4 miles west of our market.
We provide the containers. Price is $4 per pound. We are sorry but we do not sell already picked berries.

Provided with your entry: buckets for children (one per child please), juice boxes and cold bottled water, wagon rides between the fields, and unlimited strawberry picking.
Family day rules: stay with your group and be safe, wear red or strawberry-themed clothes, pick some delicious berries, have fun, and go team!

The strawberry fields are located less than a quarter mile west of our market on Jefferies Road. The strawberry sign will direct you to the field with parking on the south side of the road. We accept cash, checks and cards.

Our farm and market are still owned by the Jefferies Family. We've been growing fresh produce for over 75 years (and farming for over 150)! We specialize in produce picked in season. We grow real food for real people.

While we don't offer weekly or monthly "boxes" by subscription, we're still a small, locally- and family-owned farm that greatly appreciates your support. Every time you make a purchase at our market, you're helping us to sustain our farm and our family, and to ensure that our produce is available for the community for years to come.
Quality comes first, and for those of you who've been enjoying our seasonal crops for generations, you know there's nothing better than truly fresh asparagus or tomatoes and peaches that have been picked at the peak of ripeness. You know there's something special about having to "go outside or stand over the sink" to eat a tomato or a peach because they're so juicy. But we also do our best to keep prices as reasonable as possible. And, whenever possible we share our bounty in many ways, including special deals on canning tomatoes, or quantity discounts on apples and other produce when possible.
We're so fortunate to have a beautiful location near the Sangamon River that has been in the family for generations. Which means that we don't need to travel to the local farmers' markets for our neighbors to enjoy our wonderful produce. We hope you'll make the short, scenic trip to our store, and we look forward to seeing you.
