Just kidding we still love the cows 💕

🌼Well not necessarily what we were expecting to walk out to 🫠

🌸Not only was it Mother’s Day craziness here on the farm last week- the neighbors cows got into one of our flower fields… This was after they had been all over sampling the seedlings 😂 I think they really just wanted the cover crop in the pathways and with this drought who can blame them for wanting some green grass! Praise the Lord the damage was not nearly as bad as it could have been and who could stay mad at those cute cows! Our neighbors are great and came and got their cows as soon as we called them.

🌻Anyways, you’ve just gotta laugh about it and move on. Yes did we lose some plants, but that is life and over here we try our best to roll with it! The plants will bounce back and I’ll replant the missing ones, so it will all balance out! Farming= lots of ups and downs and seeing what crash-out happens this week 😂

Happy Friday! Spring flowers are still coming in hot! With this wild weather all the flowers are a bit confused but trying their best 😂

Come see us today and tomorrow for the first Saturday market of the season!! Weather is going to be beautiful today and a little rainy tomorrow so stop by and grab some sunshine for this weekend 🌼

💐 Spring bouquets are some of my favorite! This is the only time of year I have these flowers blooming at the same time. I can’t even with the fragrant garden roses!!!!Seasonally grown blooms are ever changing and what we have blooming one week may not be blooming the next! Warmer weather is ahead and we can’t wait for all of the little seedlings we’ve been babying to bloom into beautiful flowers, while still taking the time to appreciate the flowers that are blooming now!

🌼Finn the farm cat helping me in the greenhouse this week! He seriously has the most orange cat personality of all orange cats 😂 The farm truly wouldn’t be the same without him- he really is a special cat to us! He wants to be a part of everything and many times is the first to greet people when they pull up to the farm!

🌱We rolled down the cover crop in the greenhouse (with a log because we’re high tech over here😂) and I’ll plant directly into the rolled cover crop- kinda makes a straw to help prevent w**d growth! All of this helps build soil health by reducing tillage and increasing the microbes in the soil among other benefits.

💐Lots happening over here and I’m still planting away! We are planning, planting, harvesting, and getting ready to see you all at markets soon!!

Nothing better than a full trunk load of seedlings! We are still planting away over here and beginning to harvest our first blooms!! Not long before we’ll be back at the farmers markets 🌸
