The sunflowers are starting to bloom in George’s Garden, he’s been working hard to bring amazing vegetables to the farmers markets. During my visit today I couldn’t help but notice the new varieties George selected over the winter, like Mash Potato Squash, cooked and mashed just like potatoes…sounds delicious. Come check out his cucumbers, zucchini, onions, potatoes and even some okra is coming in. Waiting for his delicious cantaloupe varieties too, so fragrant and mouth watering. The sounds of all the bees in the garden was enchanting. Especially the lemon thyme was all abuzz

The wildflower blooms are still hanging in there. Once they dry we will mow them down, they will grow again next season.
