Bits from our Monday. We have been working on finishing up the shop that’s attached to our greenhouse- building, cleaning and setting up a wood fired stove for the long cold winter ahead. The garden is getting a layer of green grass and we’ve had plenty of help from our furry farmstead friends too 😂🐕🐈

Yum!!! You are one of the most inspiring and creative mamas I know, feeling so grateful to be part of this community with your fam!

Wanna know a secret? I'm a terrible gardener. Really. I am great with animals (I've even been called "Redneck SnowWhite" LOL) but my thumbs are the opposite of green. It makes me so sad because we LOVE to eat our veggies and go through a ton of fresh produce every week. With the cost of food lately I'm reminded how much I suck every time I go to the grocery store.

Thank you JCHE fam for coming out to the farmstead for Foraging 101 today! We were hot and sweaty… but had a lot of fun! Georgie made lots of new friends and was very happy to see parents and kids eating wild food. We appreciate this community so much!

Some pictures from the past few days on the farm 🥰 Lots of fruits and roots & bulbs and buds. Some like it hot (in the garden) and we are lucky to be harvesting our first flush of tomatoes, zucchini, and sunflowers. Shallots are out and we have to decide what will go in! Thinking this weekend we may bring some potatoes… a little red white and blue for you! Stay tuned. Thank you everyone for a great CSA day! It’s been an awesome month… we thank you.
