Ever wonder why brewers obsess over water?
Because beer is mostly water. 🍺

One of the very first investments we made at Aglet was a high-quality water treatment system. Before we brewed a single batch, we wanted complete control over one of the most important ingredients in every beer we make.

Our brewing water starts with reverse osmosis and multiple stages of filtration, giving us an ultra-clean blank canvas. From there, we build each beer's water profile from the ground up by adding specific minerals and salts tailored to the style we're brewing.

A crisp lager doesn't want the same water profile as a hazy IPA. A Vienna Lager doesn't want the same profile as a Blonde Ale. By customizing the water for each recipe, we can help every beer become the best version of itself.

And because we're a little obsessive, that same filtered water also feeds our taproom drinking water station and ice machine. So when you order a glass of water or a cocktail with ice, you're getting the good stuff too.

It's not the flashiest thing we've spent money on, but behind the scenes, it's one of the biggest reasons we're able to make the beers we want to make.

Beer nerds: Feel free to ask us about water chemistry sometime.

Everyone else: Just keep drinking the beer and pretend we didn't write a whole post about water. 🤦🏻‍♂️😜

👀 NEW BEER ALERT 👀

Say hello to Long Walk 🍺

Our newest release is a 6% ABV New England IPA loaded with Citra, Mosaic, and Cashmere hops, delivering juicy citrus, tropical fruit, and soft melon notes with a smooth, hazy finish.

Long Walk makes its debut TODAY at 4 PM.

We're back to our regular schedule this week:
Friday & Saturday : 4–10 PM

And before the weekend gets rolling, we'd like to send a huge thank you to Bryan and Zack for jumping behind the bar and helping make last weekend such a success!

Tonight’s the night 🍻

Bryan & Zack are behind the bar at Aglet tonight from 4–10 PM serving beers, cocktails, questionable advice, and probably roasting each other nonstop.

Bryan’s experimental blonde ale with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and pistachio.

There’s only a small amount of this beer available, so if you want to try it, don’t wait too long.

Come hang out with them tonight. Old friends, new beer, and what will almost certainly become at least one story nobody fully remembers tomorrow.

This weekend’s about to get a little weird… in the best possible way 🍻

Bryan & Zack are coming over to Aglet to guest bartend Friday & Saturday, May 29-30 | 4–10 PM

If you know them, you already know this probably means questionable jokes, fun times, and a very high chance of hearing “we should make a beer like this…”

Which brings us to: 👀

Bryan actually did "make a beer like this". They’ll be pouring an EXTREMELY limited experimental batch:

“Trend Stepper”
5.2% Blonde Ale with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, and pistachio.
Smooth, nutty, sweet, and unlike anything we’ve had on tap so far.
Get it while it lasts!

Tonight’s a special one at Aglet — Bryan will be stepping behind the bar for his first guest bartending night from 4–10 PM.

If you know Bryan from his time at Hoptometry, you already know he’s passionate about great beer, good conversation, and creating beers that make people say, “Wait… why does this actually work??”

So come hang out, grab a pint or cocktail, and help us give him a proper Aglet welcome!

Reminder... If you haven't grabbed a limited edition From the Heart V6 glass yet, there's still time. We have a handful left!

Now pouring: "Running Start" 🍺

Our new 5.4% Vienna Lager just hit the taps, and this one’s for the people who appreciate a beer with a little depth and drinkability.

Built on a hefty base of Vienna malt with a touch of pilsner for crispness, it pours a rich amber-gold with subtle toasted bread, light caramel, and just a hint of roast complexity from a small addition of chocolate malt. Smooth, clean, and ridiculously balanced.

We finished it with German Tettnang hops for a soft herbal/spicy character and enough bitterness to keep everything snappy and refreshing.

Basically: malty enough for the beer nerds, crushable enough for everybody else.

Come grab a pint this weekend 🍻

It’s 3rd Thursday and that means Jambon-Beurres! We are switching it up this Thursday and have partnered with our amazing neighbors . You can stop in the brewery tonight, grab and cold beer and a classic French sandwich loaded with European butter, ham and Swiss cheese all on a French baguette to enjoy while you play amongst the pups downtown.

🍺 NEW BEER ON TAP:
“Running Start” — our brand new 5.4% Vienna Lager. Smooth, malty, crisp, and ridiculously easy to drink.

🥪 Special Food Collab:
We teamed up with the incredible crew at The Turntable and they’ve created a very limited batch of cold sandwiches exclusively for Aglet tonight.

We honestly don’t even know "exactly" what Chef Rob is sending over yet… which somehow makes us even more excited. If you know his food, you already know these won’t last long. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

🍹Special cocktail for the evening... "Bring on the Sunshine"
Made with Rio Red grapefruit cordial, real grenadine, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and topped with club soda for a bright, refreshing citrus kick. Enjoy it as a refreshing N/A mocktail, or level things up with your choice of vodka, gin, or tequila.

And finally — we’ve got two new seltzers from Marion Brewing Company:
• White Peach
• Prickly Pear

Dogs downtown. New beer. Special cocktail. Fancy sandwiches. Fresh seltzers.
Feels like a pretty solid Thursday.
