Not another Matt variation...

Matty Patty, Matty Wrap, Big Matt Bowl, etc. But today is the day the Matty Dog makes its debut.

Just like every other Matt creation, this masterpiece comes loaded with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, pickles, and the world-famous Matty Sauce. Don't worry, we didn't just copy and paste the same ingredients onto the all beef hotdog. The cheese is melted directly on the grill, creating a crispy, crunchy cheese crust. We are basically culinary geniuses.

We are elevating Wiener Wednesday to a whole new level with what is sure to become your favorite dog of all time. (It is the greatest dog of all time - G.D.O.A.T for short🐐). The Matty Dog is not officially on the menu just yet, however the secret code is... "Matt Wiener". Just say the words and watch the magic happen😉😋🌭.

It's perfect-er when you pair Matty Dog with newest release CLS Lagered Stout.

🍺🚨 NEW BEER ALERT 🚨🍺

Please welcome CLS Foreign Extra Lagered Stout to the tap list.

This is one of the beers I'm most proud of brewing. Rich malt character, silky creaminess, and a unique lager fermentation twist come together to create a stout that might just change your mind about "dark beer season." It's smooth, surprisingly crisp, and way more crushable than a beer this dark has any right to be in the middle of summer.

I'll admit, the color didn't land exactly where I wanted it. That's one of the joys of scaling down recipes from a previous brewing life. Sometimes the beer teaches the brewer a lesson. Fortunately, the flavor showed up and understood the assignment.

🍺 Notes of roasted malt, smooth chocolate, and a clean finish.
🌞 Summer-approved.
🤓 Brewer-approved.
🌮 Taco-approved.

Speaking of tacos, don't forget it's Thaco Thursday tonight! What better way to enjoy tacos than with a pint of delicious CLS? Science hasn't officially confirmed it yet, but the early results are extremely promising.

Ohio Craft Beer Week kicks off today, and we at Hoptometry Brewing Company are celebrating with the release of this beauty. 🍻❤️

Please welcome From The Heart Vol. 6, an Imperial Session Juicy IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Aglet Brewing. Clocking in at 7.2% ABV, this juicy crusher is packed with bright hop character while staying dangerously smooth and refreshing.

Not only is this special brew pouring at both Hoptometry and Aglet, but limited collection glasses are available for purchase as well.

This weekend is also about celebrating the moms and mother figures who deserve all the love, appreciation, and quality time we can give them. Bring her out for great beer, delicious food, and some meaningful time together. ❤️

Every year, breweries across Ohio brew a beer “From the Heart” — a collaboration through the OCBA (Ohio Craft Brewers Association) built on community, creativity, and doing something a little different for a good cause.

This year, we teamed up with our friends at Aglet Brewing… and things escalated quickly.

The ingredient kit from the OCBA. A nice, easy-drinking "session summer ale".
What we made from it? An Imperial Session Juicy IPA.

Yeah… we know. Not a real beer style. But what did you expect from us?

It's bright, juicy, and 7.2% — just enough “oops” to keep things interesting.

From the Heart Volume 6 goes on tap this Friday, May 8th, at 4:00 PM at both Tiffin's breweries to kick off Ohio on Tap Week.
