Happy Ohio Pint Day September 29, 2026!!

From Ohio Craft B**r Association:

Ohio Pint Day is a fundraiser supporting the mission of the Ohio Craft Brewers Association: to promote, preserve, diversify and unify Ohio’s craft brewing industry.

Craft b**r enthusiasts are invited to purchase a limited-edition collectible pint glass available exclusively at the 160+ participating brewery taprooms. Glasses will be available starting on Tuesday, Sept. 29.*

In partnership with OCBA member breweries and Boelter Beverage, $1 from every glass will be donated to the OCBA.

We commissioned Ali Drozdowicz of Quenched & Tempered Brewing Co. in Toledo to design the 2026 Ohio Pint Day glass. Here's her statement about the design:

"As both a brewery owner and an artist, I was stoked to be invited to design this year’s Ohio Pint Day glass. It gave me the opportunity to step outside my brewery’s brand and ask myself, 'what does craft b**r mean to me?'

"To me, craft b**r has never been just about what’s in the glass, but those gathered around it. Every pint has the potential to spark a new collaboration, build a friendship or introduce you to someone who changes the way you see the world. Working in this industry has connected me with an incredible community of makers, dreamers and pioneers whose stories have become part of my own.

"The model for this design is Toledo’s Courtney Wolfe, yoga instructor and owner of Transient Yoga. She represents one of the many creative spirits that make our local craft community so vibrant.
"Here’s to local craft, meaningful connections, and finding your people. Cheers… and namaste!"

Ohio On Tap brewery passport app users will also be able to collect a bonus stamp by purchasing the glass. Users will be able to submit manual stamp request selfies with their glass from Sept. 29 through Oct. 4 to receive the stamp.

🕓 Taproom hours:
🔹 Wed: 4–9pm (kitchen till 8pm) - Wieners Wednesday!!
🔹 Thu:4-9pm (kitchen till 8pm) - Thaco Thursday!!
🔹 Fri: 4–10 PM (kitchen till 9pm) Friday Flight Night 4-6pm. $11 for 5 samples!!

🎉🍺 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RICK! 🍺🎉

Today we’re celebrating the creator of Hoptometry Brewing's world-famous Ricky Fries, our fellow brewer from , and most importantly, our dear friend, Rick! ❤️

Rick might be old, but this guy is still mighty! 💪😎 His fake friends may enjoy reminding him just how old he is, but here at Hoptometry, we’re his TRUE friends.

So raise a cold pint, grab some Ricky Fries, and help us wish Rick the happiest 67th birthday! 🍺🍟🎂

Then head over to Aglet Brewing and celebrate with him in person! 🍻

Cheers to another year of brewing, friendship, questionable decisions, and probably a few more gray hairs. 😜

Happy Birthday, Rick! 🍻❤️

What’s this next brew? 👀🍺
Can’t you smell the love in the air?

09/10/2026

🔥🍺 Things have been HOT in the back at Hoptometry.

And I’m not talking about the weather.

There has been a LOT of sweating, a LOT of work, and a whole lot of “why did I decide brewing b**r was a good idea?” happening back there. 😂

This time, it’s RIVER RAT. YES. Mash God has approved. 🙌

She is officially making her way back onto the tap list, guys!

Now give me, Rose, a few weeks to work my magic (and probably sweat a few more gallons), and River Rat will be here. 🍻

In the meantime, I want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who came out last week while we launched our new payment policy and made some adjustments to the POS.

Yep, the POS gave me SO. MUCH. SH*T. 🤦‍♀️😂

Thank you for being patient with us while we wrestled with technology, numbers, buttons, and whatever other nonsense decided to join the party.

We appreciate every single one of you who stuck with us, grabbed a b**r, ate some food, and kept the good vibes going. ❤️

As always, share our info, bring your people, and come share your stories with us.

We’ll keep making the b**r.
You keep drinking it.

Seems like a pretty fair arrangement to me. 😎🍺

See you at Hoptometry!

❤️ A NOTE FROM US AT HOPTOMETRY

I wanted to take a moment to share a small but important change with you.

Starting September 1, 2026, we’ll be adding a 3% surcharge to credit card payments to help offset the processing costs that come with accepting credit cards.

💳 Credit Card: 3% surcharge
💳 Debit Card: No surcharge
🍺 Sales Tax: Already included in all our prices

I know an extra charge is never something anyone gets excited about , and believe me, neither am I. As a small, independently owned brewery, every expense matters. This change simply helps us manage the rising costs of doing business while continuing to focus on what matters most: making good b**r, serving our community, and keeping Hoptometry the place we all enjoy coming to.

The 3% surcharge does not exceed the fees we pay to process credit card transactions.

If you'd prefer to avoid the surcharge, cash or debit is always welcome. ❤️

And from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thank you for choosing to spend your evenings with us. Thank you for bringing your friends and family. Thank you for supporting our little brewery, cheering us on, and allowing me to keep doing what I love.

Hoptometry exists because of this community. Every pint, every plate, every laugh, and every visit truly means something to me.

Thank you for supporting Hoptometry Brewing Co. 🍻❤️
