The Bates family invites you to come and enjoy our farm on our 100-acre ranch. Visit with mini-donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas, pigs, emus, chickens, peacocks, ducks, geese & more! The animals love visitors, and will eat from your hands. Bags of animal feed can be purchased for $0.75; admission is free. The Bates retail store offers a wide variety of nuts, candies, gourmet treats, fudge, gifts, and

décor, including many local brands. Or shop for women’s accessories, gifts, clothing, and home décor at Farmer’s Daughter. We have events year round including our Pumpkin Patch, Easter Egg Hunt, Arts & Crafts Fairs, Antiques, Collectibles & Crafts Markets, Fine Art Fairs, Car Shows and many more! This is a free event hosted by SDGE here at Bates Nut Farm. Come learn about wildfire preparedness, gather important safety information, and enjoy demonstrations and more!

🐐 And don’t miss the SDGE Safety Goats!
These hardworking goats help manage vegetation in hard-to-reach areas, supporting wildfire risk reduction and helping protect the communities SDGE serves. Come meet the goats and learn how they play a part in fire prevention!

You can also learn important tips to help protect your family, home, and property, including emergency preparedness, generator safety, defensible space, wildfire mitigation, and more.

Our adorable little gosling is growing up! And wait for the next clip to see our cute baby pigs, they're growing up quick too!🪿🐖

When the gosling was first born it had fluffy yellow feathers and now it's almost all white. And it's starting to make little sounds too!

Make sure to stop by and see the pigs, the babies are adorable, they like to take a dip in the mud pool. And they also like to have playtime with the older pigs!

🐴 Pony Rides Are Coming to Bates! 🎃

Looking for a fun Saturday activity with the kiddos? Snows Pony Rides & Farm Animals will be at Bates Nut Farm on Saturday, September 5 from 10am–2pm! 🐴

Pony rides are here at Bates on the first Saturday of each month, so come enjoy a ride, visit our farm animals, and make a morning of it!

🎟️ $14 per ride or $26 for 2 rides
💳 Cash, Venmo & credit cards accepted
🐴 75 lb. weight limit
👧 If your child can sit up on their own, they may ride!

And this is just the beginning! 🎃 Once our Pumpkin Patch opens September 17, Snow’s Pony Rides will be back:
