Our $15,000 Kiva campaign is officially fully funded! And in a little over three days too! ✨

This 0% interest loan will help us continue equipping and maintaining our new drivable food truck, allowing Cha Community to bring our drinks, food, and community experiences to more events and neighborhoods. Our Cha Community Kiva campaign went public yesterday to the global Kiva lending community and we’re now over 64% funded as of this afternoon! Help us surpass 75% to get closer to the finish line by supporting our campaign today. The link is still the same below! 🎉

If you’re not familiar with Kiva, it’s similar to Kickstarter, but instead of donating or purchasing items, you’re lending money at 0% interest to small businesses like ours. Friends, family, colleagues, and people/organizations around the world can lend as little as $25. It’s not a donation - the loan is repaid by us over 20 months. Because the Tory Burch Foundation is backing this loan, each dollar lent goes even further in helping us reach our goal. $25 lent will become $75 with the partner matching! 🤝

Since this is our 3rd Kiva Loan, we have a strong history of fully repaying our previous Kiva loans. This time, we’re raising $15,000 to upgrade, equip, fully stock, and maintain our new Cha Community food truck, which we acquired a few months ago here in Waco! 🛻

We recently fully paid off our 2nd Kiva Loan, which we launched a few years ago to help support the opening of our Cha Community 8th St. Waco boba tea cafe and also celebrated 8 years of business this past June! 🎉

We now have the opportunity to re-apply for our 3rd Kiva Loan, again backed by the Tory Burch Foundation (the first was backed by Startup Waco), and we’d love to invite you to participate in the campaign! ✨

*tapioca boba & food service begins daily at 11am.
