Shade Tree Cattle We are a small family owned farm that started our roots in dairy and made the switch to beef. We are not big but love what we do.

We are just starting our herd, and are not a one Breed farm, we have a little bit of everything.

Today we had a cute 😍 little surprise when we got home after lunch, Spice blessed us with a little girl!
She has some amazing color patterns and she has the cutest little face.

Kids would like to hear some names for the little one. Would like fall or spice theme to go with mom's name "Spice"

Another exciting morning on the farm, Maggie blessed us with a baby heifer! Healthy and spunky little thing.

She is red like Grandma Cinnamon and even has white on the belly as well.

She was welcomed by the barn crew as they all came in to check her out.

She even shares a birthday with our other cow Lacie, so happy birthday 🎂 to both!

Well all its been some time since we have posted been busy getting ready for the fair and all the other life challenges we have been running into so figure being we have some down time sitting at the Carver County Fair we have some time to post.

It's already day two of the fair and everyone is finally tired and settling in. (See pictures). Night one was interesting and something we didn't have on our BINGO card. Rocky (The big guy) decided he did not want to be in tie outs the first night here and decided he was going to try and jump out over a 5 foot gate well needles to say he didnt make it but was not going to give up and decided to put his head between the top two bars and got his head stuck. We the help of some other show familys (and 20 minuets later) we were able to get him un-stuck and settled in for the first night.

So we will see how the rest of the day goes with Beef show starting tomorrow (Friday) at 3.
