🤪 Fair Blooper Reel from last week 🤣

Ashley Musselman your show ring flubbub wasn't the only one caught on video 🤣

🤫🫢🫣 ssshhh don't tell Lee he'll be so mad🤣

This is only a partial clip of the class.
For our followers that aren't cattle folk: typically for most classes you come in line up side by side for the judge to get a close up look (this part was already complete) then the judge will have you walk out in a circle so he can evaluate them on the move. Now, you don't need to use the whole ring when you only have two animals in the class, but you do need to walk far enough for them to get a good stride and not be walking right up on top of the judge 🤣 (hence why I walked out of the video with my bull), then you line the animals up head to tail for the judge to evaluate the profile.

💥 Tasty Tuesday Product Spotlight 💥

Ground Beef and Ground Sirloin

We are so grateful for your support of our small family farm/business! Y'all may have noticed our regular ground beef is out of stock 😱. Have no fear though we have a beef at the butcher that we should be able to pick up with in the next week.

This empty freezer is normally dedicated to ground beef, as you can see it's empty so we are making due right alongside you! We do have a little bit of ground sirloin in stock if you need something to get by until we get more regular ground beef this coming weekend

🐮 Monthly Monday Meet the Herd 🐮

I've not been keeping up on these monthly posts very well so I'll try to get back on track this month!

Golden Girl 2306GR.

This cow really deserves the spotlight 🔦. Sired by JSF Goldenrod her maternal side is 4 generations born and raised on our farm. She has been a favorite since she was born and just keeps getting better with age. Just a three year old, both of her calves have been impressive and have been top performers. We pulled her right off the pasture and took her to the Ashland County Fair where she was named Grand Champion Shorthorn female this year!

We had a good week at the Ashland County Fair! We love catching up with fellow exhibitors and farmers.

🥇🥈Grand and Reserve Champion Shorthorn Bull
🥇Grand Champion Shorthorn Female (with a 3 year old cow right of the pasture)

But the best part was that our nephew Jake wanted to come help out with the cattle and help show. He's been helping out at the farm this summer and it's rewarding to see him having fun and gaining confidence working with the cattle!
