It seems like the county fair was ages ago. Life was extra crazy during that season and I (Melanie) ended up needing major surgery a few weeks after the fair was over. 🤕

Josalynn's breeding ewe lamb took third place! Nathaniel's buyers were very generous and Madelyn completed her final clover bud judging.

Prior to refrigerated transportation, large flocks were “trotted” 10 miles per day to market. Lead turkeys wore bells to help herders track them. Corn scattered along the route kept the birds moving.
